4.00The guide Laura was fantastic. She made all the difference. Orvieto is beautiful, but the time to see the city is very little. Fascinating Bagnoreggio. Lunch isn't worth it. The explanations on the wines are given in any way and the amount of wine for tasting and accompanying the pasta is minimal. The staff seems to want to get rid of us as soon as possible. They should give more time in Orvieto and let each of them have their own lunch.

5.00It’s a long day do bring snacks & water.Bagnoregio & Orvieto were awesome and definitely worth visiting. The wine tasting was with a very large group and not personal at all. I’ve been to much better wine tastings with small groups. Our guide Gulia was awesome…she had a lot of energy and was very informative and personable.

5.00Pari was a great tour guide. She was very informative about the places that we were going. Francesco was our driver and did an excellent job of navigating the crazy traffic. I wish we would have had a little more time at "temptation island ". There was so much to try! We saw beautiful architecture and landscapes. The walk up to the dying city was brutal but it was beautiful. We enjoyed the trip.

5.00Experience was well worth the money. Our guide (Lorenzo) was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed his presentation of the history of the areas we visited. He was very informative and knowledgeable of the areas as well as answering any other questions we had. We did not expect much from the included “lunch”. But it far exceeded our expectations. We would have gladly paid for the lunch experience on its own. This was by far the most value per experience that we experienced on our recent vacation.
Book it! You won’t regret it!

5.00Laura guided through an event filled day with wine, pasta, cheese, cathedrals, history, unexpected detours that were appreciated, humor, relativity, and a walk into the past. My family and I enjoyed her words of wisdom on Rome, her many stories of the Etruscans and others in Italy’s past, and her personal flair which made it all the more interesting. The day was very long with the potential to drag and be tiring, but having a wonderful guide and a comfortable bus with A/C made all the difference. Everything was organized and timely which was also a major plus. The cathedral in Orvieto was spectacular and Bagnoregio was truly a wonder! Highly recommended.

Solid tour with some opportunities

4.00Ok- Let me start by saying that the ratings for this experience are a bit overrated. It is a nice tour. There are some opportunities. 1. Appreciate the tour starting on time- well organized and prompt. 2. The first stop was very nice. 90 mins in Ovieto. On your own time. Very pleasant. 3. The bus itself needs maintenance. The suspension is in bad shape and it was a rough & noisy ride at times. 4. The 2nd stop at basically a gift shop for tasting if oil and wine…it’s a waste of time. It’s an hour would like to have had back. I would remove from this tour. 5. The 3rd stop for lunch and wine was very nice. The food was 7/10 rating wise. The pasta was excellent. The wine was below average in my opinion. Overall the stop was nice but could have been shortened by 30 mins. 6. The 4th stop in Bognoreigo…excellent. The transportation from the public lot to the entrance to the city walk was not good. Poorly managed. It was a minor inconvenience. 7. The ride back to Rome was 1:45 mins. This is where I would want to have shorted some of the stops and eliminated the stop for oil and gift shop. The tour was supposed to be 12 hours. Ended up being 13 hours. 7am meet to 8pm drop off. It was a long day- especially considering the bus was in need to maintenance. No plug ins for phone, bad/noisy suspension. 13 hours is too long for a day trip. The rating I would provide is 4.0 max. With some modifications suggested above it could be a 5 star event. It was enjoyable but I wouldn’t do it again under the circumstances listed above. The guide and driver did an admirable job with the group which was probably about 10 people too large. Best wishes…

5.00It was an amazing tour. Our tour guide Leonardo was fantastic. He told us lots of really good information about the area and was very helpful. Made the trip very fun. We love the sites. They were just amazing. Highly recommend this tour.
