Baku: Gobustan, Mud Volcano, Fire Temple & Burning Mountain. I messed up my phone number and missed my tour, but the management at Tranquil Tours was kind enough to reschedule my tour without any extra charges. The 8 hours tour was awesome, our tour guide 'Rza' spoke perfect english and explained the history of various locations. The tour was well managed with good vehicles and complimentary water on board. Highly recommended.

Save your self trouble and don’t book this tour the address is fake there isn’t any form on that address only empty alley waste of money and time it messed up my schedule now i can’t visit the place the whole trip. I asked people from other firms that worked literally 5 meters from where this firm was supposed to be and they’ve never heard of them. Attached photo is supposed to be where the firm is.

Booked a trip in Baku to the mud pools and different attractions. Showed up 30 minutes before departure at 9:00. Could not find the company on my own. Despite I had Whatsapp, the operator never contacted me. After filling a request for a refund, I received a message by email that they would investigate. The operator and I had a conversation over WhatsApp (You can get a transcript if you want to), where he admitted he had not done enough and tried booking me for other trips, but I did not have time for this. Viator never returned with status (Although it was promised within a week in the email). You can not respond to the email. If trying to contact the company on the webpage viator.com the popup form does not support entering text and without text you can not send the form. Conclusion: You can not contact the company! And after a month still no refund. I suppose non-delivery of the tour and no way to contact the company is a one-star experience, maybe zero stars should also be an option....

The guide: too talkative about all the unnecessary things in the world and had too little to say about the history and the spots. He was borderline disinterested in the group. We saw so many guides would actually go to each room in the Fire temple whereas our guide just read the first para from the wiki and then left us to explore it at our own. He actually gave me a headache. Plus my parents dont understand English so I translate the content for them in Hindi. I have taken tours in other countries where the guides out of respect give me like 10 seconds to translate but our guide didn't give a damn if my parents felt as the part of the group or not. Food: we pre-paid for the food which was a biiiiiiiggg mistake. All we got was two pieces of chicken per person and some rice followed by a bitter coffee. It was by far the worst prepaid food experience I have had till now. And as usual the guide will leave you with the staff that doesn't understand English to enjoy their meal earned from the commission only the appear at the end just as formality.

I recently had an incredible tour of Gobustan, the Mud Volcanoes, the Fire Temple, and Burning Mountain, guided by the knowledgeable Leyla. Her passion for the rich history and culture of each site brought the experience to life, especially at Gobustan and the Fire Temple, where she shared fascinating insights into its Zoroastrian significance. Really Loved the Mud Volcanoes and we even took a bottle filled with it. Its a must-do for anyone visiting Azerbaijan!
