Rustic getaway.....see it before it gets easier to visit. The journey is half the escape.

5.00We were well looked after by our crew. Accomodation is basic so lower your expectations. Plenty of food provided. Stunning locations visited, with crystal clear waters. Onuk Island is a postcard! Beautiful coral gardens. Balabac town is very small, not much there.

5.00Epic adventure island hoping throughout Balabac! It was an incredible tour that truly made for lasting memories. We have never seen paradise like this where the water was crystal clear and warm, sand was soft, palm trees were flowing in the breeze, and no crowds! Originally, I was going to do a solo trip in a semi-private group to meet other travelers but my brother was able to join last minute and ATX was able to accommodate. Somehow, our tour ended up private for just us, including all the transportation to and from Puerto Princesa and island hoping excursions. We were super grateful and soaked in the sibling bonding. Al was our tour guide and he’s a Balabac local so educated us on history and culture, and showed us around to various local spots. He was friendly, helpful, and informative. I also appreciated they chose the destinations based on weather conditions, for example, we went to Onuk Island on day 2 instead of last day bc of calmer waters, low/high tide timing, clear skies, and sun. ATX was superb - always responsive, gave clear instructions, checked in daily, and ensured a seamless tour. We had a run in with Mother Nature where the coast guard cancelled all boat trips to the port due to inclement weather conditions, which did add an extra day. ATX covered our extra night stay accommodations and food - that’s fantastic service and peace of mind for us. Even before the trip, they set the expectation for us to be flexible because you never know how weather conditions may change course. Some of our fav destinations were Onuk Island, Patawan Island, and all the sandbars. Onuk Island was the highlight and I can totally understand why - picturesque with various activities. We got to spend extra time here since it’s where we had lunch. We went snorkel with two large sea turtles. We were able to hire a drone for amazing video and photos. We even played island hoops. Onuk was the most crowded destination but everywhere else was only a few groups and we even got lucky a couple times to have an island or sandbar to ourselves. Truly secluded paradise that was relaxing and magical! Overall, it was an amazing tour. ATX, Al, a crew were fantastic. We appreciate that the essentials were included like transportation to/from PPS, food, accommodations, and all island/sandbar excursions. We just needed cash for souvenirs, adult beverages, and any additional services. We have never see paradise like this and would highly recommend this tour for anyone who is adventurous, wants to avoid the crowds, seeking paradise, looking to snorkel in coral reefs and with sea turtles, open to trying a variety of delicious Filipino dishes and seafood, and those who can be flexible when Mother Nature changes your plans. Go visit Balabac now before the crowds come!
Very bad experience, the worst of Puerto Princesa

1.00Do not book anything with this company, they are not professional at all, there were huge waves and we were afraid to go on the boat, we could not continue with the tour and we were not refunded any part of the money, being the tour very expensive. And besides, the day before we were told that instead of 2 nights in balabac sun we could do one, we were asking all the tourists who were there, and none happened to them, everyone continued with the tour modifying the stops according to the waves , Wind and the movement of the sea. I complained and they didn't give me any part of the money back. DO NOT CONTRACT ANYTHING WITH THEM!!!!

5.00Extraordinary visits of the 7 islands with each their own particularity (starfish coral turtles ..) The crew with adorable little care. Negative the two nights spent in Balabac, have no interest the best is to sleep on the islands and not in the boarding house, nothing to do in Balabac not enough description when booking on the site. Cleaning up beaches on these paradise islands becomes an emergency (putting garbage cans and signs) awareness of everyone to preserve these extraordinary places
