5.00Wira was our amazing driver for the day in Bali. He was so organized and sent WhatsApp messages the night before and the morning of our day out with him. He was punctual, professional and informative. We were able to customize a fun-filled, 10 hour day and we would definitely want Wira again if we are ever back in Bali!

5.00We started our trip in Mengwi with the Jik satra on an 8hr private car pickup at the port. First stop was the Taman Ayun royal temple, which was beautiful. We werent allowed in the temple itself, but there was an observation path around it to view the complex as well as some exhibitions in a few buildings. Next, the Jatiluwih rich terraces, where we had a nice trek through the rice fields on both improved and primitive paths. For those visiting, there are fewer crowds than Ubud. We also stopped at a restaurant, a coffee shop (that had just opened to showcase their coffee), the Sengey monkey forest and a batik shop. I honestly wouldn’t have believed it was possible to squeeze all of this into our one day excursion. Pura wija, the coffee stop, provided us with an introduction to locally grown plants, then followed up with a flight of tea and coffee. Tried the Luwak as well and it wasn’t nearly as bad as i had been led to believe (better than a large US coffee shop). Not my cup of tea, but great price as well if you are interested in this. We preferred the teas. Just note it is served french press style/Turkish style and there will be grains of coffee in the cup. Our guide was very friendly and informative.

5.00We had Ketut doing our transfer from Kuta to Lovina with a few scenic stops along the way. A 4 hour journey that we extended to 7 hours with stops at the silver factory and a brilliant lunch he recommended. His vehicle was clean and very comfortable and he was amazing. He was knowledgeable and efficient and he was happy to accommodate all our requests including stopping at 4 places to get us ice for our villa for the all important arrivals drinks. Thank you Ketut.

5.00Our driver Wayan picked us up at the Benita cruise terminal and took us to the rice terraces, the butterfly garden, a local persons home, an art and silver studio and a lovely restaurant overlooking a koi pond and rice field. Traffic is crazy with motorcycles weaving in and out of traffic on your left and right in the same lane so his calm driving skills were impressive! We will have wonderful memories of our day in Bali.

5.00Kodi made our time in Bali so special! He’s an amazing and kind guide. He took us to see so many gorgeous places. We saw a waterfall, webt to an authentic rice field , went to see a monkey and bat sanctuary and got to pet and feed bats! We went to see a beautiful temple, did some shopping and went to a coffee and tea tasting that was over the top! He took us to places that were less touristy which we appreciated. We went to a beach and we had time in the beach town to get a manicure and a haircut! Kodi told us all about the traditions and religion here and we saw so many family temples along the way. He was flexible and we talked the entire day. We learned so much and we became friends! Kodi shared stories about his family life! If you have the chance to come to Bali ask for Kodi to be your guide. You will be happy you did! Kodi picked us up from our cruise port early and got us back in plenty of time! Memorable day!
