Our tour consisted of four people in the tour guy was outstanding. His name was Ira. He was extremely personable. He gave serious knowledge about the history of Baltimore. He took us to areas of town showed us a lot of places to eat, but also gave us the history. we also ended up at Fort McHenry at the end of the tour. It was excellent. The only problem that I had was, I wasn’t able to give Ira a tip cause I didn’t have any change.

Steve drove us around Baltimore. I would say 75% of his dialogue was talking about restaurants, even reading from their signs. “You could get ice cream there, they offer eco friendly and vegan friendly options” “that place offers indoor and outdoor seating” Occasionally he would mention something of historical significance or sprinkle in stories of growing up in Baltimore. He would point out ‘that rowhouse has a roof, that’s expensive, but it would be nice.’ The tour was not without value, but did not provide much historical info.

Our tour guide Ira knows his town and we learned so much about it. Lots of great ideas where to spend the rest of our time.

My daughter and I so enjoyed this tour. It is obvious our guide, Ira, loves Baltimore. He was the best, so personable and knowledgeable. He gave us great insights into the various groups of immigrants who made up the city as we toured their neighborhoods. He had lots of little stories and details (like the 9 ft wide houses!) that made Baltimore come alive. And he pointed out many places worth a separate visit for those with more time. Seriously, we didn't know Baltimore was so interesting before we took this tour. : ) The visit to Ft. McHenry, where the Star Spangled Banner was born, was a huge highlight. There was a video that told the story. Well worth the extended stop. Ira is also a restaurant afficionado, with many great recommendations. Wish our stay were longer so we could have tried the seafood and chicken!! As it was we were short on time, but he gave us a recommendation for an Italian restaurant right across the street from the Visitors Center. It was perfect!! Ambiance lovely and food wonderful. Oh, and they were giving all the ladies free prosecco in honor of Women's Day!

I rode along with Ira as my tour guide. There were no other guests so it was a 1-on-1 tour. Ira was polite, friendly and professional. The van had a bad proximity sensor in the bumper so it kept on beeping the entire tour. Every ten seconds it was going off like he was about to hit something. I can look past that, technical difficulties happen although it was pretty distracting. My biggest issue was there was no story telling, no tale was spun. It felt like we were just driving by buildings and given the facts throughout the whole city. It didn’t grab your attention. It gives you a lay of land

The tour was very informative. I would take the tour as early in your trip as possible so you can choose places to revisit.

This was a really fun tour that gave us an excellent overview of historical Baltimore. Ira was an outstanding guide, giving us lots of background about all the different neighborhoods and waves of immigrants that built the city. You could tell Ira had pride in his hometown, its people, restaurants and culture. When we travel we love to take this kind of tour that highlights new places we want to visit. This was definitely one of the best we’ve taken.
