What To Expect
We will leave Bangkok and travel to the train station, which takes approximately 1.5 hours.
We will take a scenic, non-air-conditioned local train ride through the Thai countryside, with everything passing right next to the train. The ride to the train market takes approximately 1 hour.

5.00We visited the Floating Market and the famous Train Market with family, about 1½ hours from Bangkok. Our first stop was along the road for fresh coconuts at only 5 baht , which was refreshing and felt very local and also coconut oil at only 300 baht for 1 litre. The Floating Market was lively and colourful, with boats selling food, fruits, and souvenirs. Afterward, our son enjoyed gun shooting, and we experienced an elephant ride, which was a memorable highlight. On our way back, we stopped at the Train Market, where it was fascinating to watch vendors quickly move their stalls as the train passed through and then return to normal within minutes. Overall, it was a great family day trip and well worth the journey. Having good, comfortable transportation makes a big difference, particularly when travelling with kids.

5.00Great experience! The train markets are crazy and super busy but you have to do it. The speed boats around the floating village is fun and the food at the floating markets is delicious. Kwan is an awesome tour leader.

4.00This tour may not be the most suitable for kids as it involves some travel and quite a bit of souvenir shopping, which children honestly wouldn’t enjoy. For us, however, it was a wonderful experience. We thoroughly loved the floating market and the train journey, both of which were highlights of the day. Everything was perfectly arranged by the tour operator, leaving us with absolutely no complaints. A small addition like lunch included in the package would have made it even better, but overall the service was fantastic. Our guide, Katy, was kind, attentive, and took great care of us throughout. We would highly recommend this tour to others looking for a well-organized and enjoyable experience.

The local company that handled the tour was Tripza Sightseeing, very professional, and their representative and the guide were at the meeting point an hour before the activity started. It began on time, the minibus was perfect, the driver was very careful, and our guide, Alexa, was magnificent and made the tour even better than advertised.
