Truly a great way to experience Thailand's culture. We started on-time and our tour guide shared some background about the teacher, who is a former professional fighter. I was a little nervous I wouldn't be able to follow the teacher, but the instruction was very clear and there wasn't much to memorize. We learned the moves gradually, so even someone with no martial arts background could keep up. I also enjoyed learning the wai kru. Understanding the background of the ceremony made it even more meaningful, especially since we later saw it performed in real fights. After the class, we headed to Rajadamnern Stadium, with some free time beforehand to grab dinner. There's a cool shop at the stadium selling really great Muay Thai boxing shorts. We entered the stadium around 6:30 pm and got excellent seats with a clear view of the ring. The fights were very entertaining to watch, and thankfully no one was seriously injured. If you're in Bangkok, I highly recommend going with Magical Trip for a Muay Thai experience!

The experience was awesome!! Had a blast with the Sensei and fighters. Bow gave great introduction of Muay Thai and its history. Not only it’s beginner friendly but they can give you hard time if you’re with Martial Arts. 100% recommended!!

Amazing experience! Highly recommended and my favorite time spent so far in Bangkok. Bow taught us the history of Muay Thai and the significance of the out of fight traditions we saw later in the night. We trained with a teacher and two young muay thai champions. We also got to see them fight one another as a sneak peak to what we experienced in Rajadamnern Stadium. We also had the pleasure of meeting Cal, @thebangkokguide, who filmed a youtube video about the experience. We all felt so much more confident after the training and appreciated the fight way more. Thank you Bow for an amazing experience ❤️

Had a great time and our guide Bow went above and beyond to make the day a highlight of our time in Bangkok. The Muay Thai trainers were patient and knowledgeable, providing not only a historical and cultural insight into the art, but also a taster of the physical prowess needed for the fights at the stadium. The stadium itself was a great atmosphere and we had so much fun.
