Ride through quiet and safe back roads and small lane ways. Visit ancient temples and the flower market after sunset. Since you are visiting a Buddhist temple (Wat Pho), you are expected to dress respectfully. We recommend you to wear longer shorts (knees covered) and to have your shoulders covered when we enter the temple.

After a quick bike fitting, we’re on the way to the first river crossing that brings us to the Thonburi side of Bangkok. Together with our bicycle we walk across the Klongsan market. From here we cycle in a relaxed pace to a Chinese pagoda located on the riverbanks of the Chao Praya River. The inside of the 8 stories pagoda is finished in granite and bronze. The windows have delicate etched designs of birds and other animals. We continue the Bangkok Sunset ride through a quiet neighborhood and stop at the second market. They only sell food here and it is the place where we’ll have our “starter” tonight. There are many food stalls and our guide will explain to you what is offered, how it is cooked, and what’s in it. We continue along the river until our stop at the Temple of Dawn. It’s almost magical the way Wat Arun is lightened and gives you a new impression. Now it’s time for our main dish and we will sit down at a typical local Thai restaurant. After our meal we ride along Wat Rakhang Khositaram and take a boat back to the Bangkok side. We ride pass Sanam Luang and the Grand Palace until we reach Wat Pho for a visit and stroll the temple compound. We continue the ride to “Pak Klong Talad” or Flower market. Where you’ll see a kaleidoscope of bright colors as vendors showcase fresh floral goods from every corner of Thailand. We then take you back to the Sheraton where the Bangkok Sunset Ride ends and we have to say goodbye. You will return to your hotel with new impressions and experiences of Bangkok! Since you are visiting a Buddhist temple (Wat Pho), you are expected to dress respectfully. We recommend you to wear longer shorts (knees covered) and to have your shoulders covered when we enter the temple.

We had an amazing bike tour through Bangkok with Tor (guide). We went to see the iconic places (temples, ferry, flowers market, and more) in the city and get to see how locals live. We even had dinner in a local restaurant with amazing thai food. Tor was very friendly, explaining every little detail and answering all our questions. This was the best way to get to know the city on our 1st day here.

An amazing experience seeing Bangkok by night. Not just the temples and flower market but some narrow alleyways and streets away from the tourist trails. Cooler in the evening but still warm enough for shorts and tee shirts. We had a guide in front of us and one behind and always felt safe despite the traffic. Up was an excellent guide. She is both knowledgeable about Bangkok and passionate about it sharing her infectious enthusiasm. Up also has a great sense of humour. We stopped for a meal part way through the evening which was excellent. You need to be reasonably confident on a bike to enjoy it. Thank you for an excellent evening and thank you to Up for being a great guide.

Our teens were enthusiastic about the starting point with open internet. The backyard where we received the wheels in good condition was a bit suspicious. We were accompanied by 2 guides. The varied interesting evening tour led "Tom". He navigated us safely through alleys we would never have ventured into alone and took free photos of the entire tour. “Thatipoom Donsomai (Best)”, who drove after, explained the sights interesting and entertaining. For our questions he took time and answered them very understandably. We were still restrained in the tasting at the market, but the included dinner was a highlight, since probably no tourist dares to eat alone and it was so delicious here. We are totally enthusiastic about the offer, which offered us very authentic insights. The T'HB were well laid out it was more than worth it! On the other hand, through our travel provider MeierWeltreisen/GoVacation we were fobbed off with a boring tourist program and little explanation!

Very impressive We did a 4 hour tour of Bangkok to places you probably wouldn't have seen otherwise. It was the highlight of these two-week holidays for us. Super Guides Amm and Tom. The tour truly relaxed and not strenuous. Incl. Dinner in a small simple restaurant with a local population. Great experience.
