• Bikes good but service poor.

  Not a good experience. On the day of collection received a message that they were going to be late 15 mins but this ended up being an hour which was completely unacceptable. Upon arrival I did say I would want a partial refund which they agreed to and did provide. However I was surprised that they had no cycle routes or maps to offer so we had to fend for ourselves. The bikes themselves were fine and helmets were provided along with bike locks. We rode along the seafront (main road) to Rockley Beach (free of any boats) and had a swim in the sea. Roads were busy but safe. No issue returning the bikes but not a professional outfit.

  We rented 2 Ebikes with GEARS246.com and wow it was our best activity we did 3/4 of the island by bike. Thank you to Dawn and her husband for the good service.

  I highly recommend this company. We hired 2 ebikes for a total of 8-9 days. The three people we dealt with (Acobee, Kason and Tonja - forgive the mispellings) were all really helpful and responsive and the nicest people you could possibly meet. The bikes themselves were big robust mountain ebikes with suspension and big, wide tyres. I thought initially they were over spec'd for the road biking we wanted to do... but they turned out to be perfect as you need a good, robust bike for some of the Barbados road surfaces and potholes. Batteries were good - we kept them on power 2 and 3 all day which enables you to go about 23-30 km/hour and cover approx 50 miles... Bikes were dropped off and collected at our hotel around 9-30am in the mornings. We were really unluck one day and had 2 puntures in one day (don't worry, this is unusual!)... no problem, we phoned up and Kason was there in the van with a new bike within about an hour,.. and dropped us at our destinations too, so we weren't late. Usually we would have hired a car for at least a few days. However, I thought this worked out to be a better experience (traffic is heavy around Bridgetown), more enoyable in the open air, and better value for money too. Highly recommend.

  Bikes were great. Easy to use and really accelerate! Pick-up and drop-off at the cruise port have unfortunately been a bit cumbersome. Had not received any information about the pickup location, 4 days before the date and 2 days before we had checked with the provider: no feedback. On the day of pickup, a Whats app arrived at 9:14 a.m. that the bikes are ready from 10:00 a.m. Good for spontaneous people, but for us it was annoying! A time must be agreed upon when returning. So clarify directly when booking where exactly the pick-up location is, otherwise it is very stressful! Basically, the island is not quite ideal for bikes. We are fit and there was no problem. But the roads have damage and potholes everywhere. And besides, traffic in Bridgetown is too heavy for pleasant cycling. You have to be very focused!

  Think twice before you consider this one. Directions where to meet were a little off. It took us basically an hour and a half to figure out exactly where we were supposed to meet to get the bikes. Then riding an e-bike around the island is a challenge in itself with all the congestion, traffic and no bike paths. Was not our favorite shore excursion by far.

  Although the experience was presented as being available with no particular time to retrieve your bikes, if you cannot meet the operators's own schedule, you will not be able to get the equipment. As a result, I did not get the bikes and I paid for an activity that aI could not enjoy. Please have your information updated to reflect this so that others will not have the same predicament.

  I've rented 2 e-bike for a week, really good quality e-bike, can go up to 50km/h and last for over 40km on all electric, we did 70km in one shot, that is plenty for Barbados. We had flat tire and they came to us and change the bike in a reasonable amount of time. Even give us a lift, because we had a dinner reservation that we would want to miss. Really friendly. We bought a esim to have internet on our phone so we can contact them anywhere on the island, don't rely on wifi in Barbados.

  The tour was fantastic we had instructions on how to operate the bikes let us practice till we felt comfortable, went on a 2-hour tour then ended with a Mai Tai. We had 3 tour guides, and they were fantastic funny, friendly and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this tour.
