Join us aboard Tranquility Cruises a Snorkel Boat for our 90 minutes turtle & shipwreck adventure. The cruise departs from our. Dock in the Careenage in Bridgetown. Our journey takes us to Carlisle Bay, on most days Carlisle Bay boasts calm turquoise waters with no undertow, delicately lapping on the soft white sand. This bay draws both locals and tourists alike with its breath-taking beauty above water, but also its’ thriving marine park that is enjoyed by scuba divers and snorkelers alike. Under the surface of the sea Carlisle Bay comes alive with vibrant tropical fish in abundance, sea horses, sea turtles, octopus, rays, and much more!

If you are booking with transport but are not staying at a hotel please provide the name and location of the villa or accommodation and we will advise you if we can pick you up there or your nearest pick up point.
If you suffer from motion sickness, we recommend taking precautions before the start of the tour. Please also advise your tour guide. Whilst we can sympathize and will try to make you as comfortable as possible our island roads can be bumpy at windy. We must also ensure we take care of all our customers and ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle. If you are ill on board, you will be required to reimburse the driver before the end of the tour for the cleaning fee of between US seventy five and one hundred and fifty dollars. Thank you for your kind understanding. This is not applicable to the boat portion of your tour.

Carlisle Bay
Located on the southwestern coast of Barbados, Carlisle Bay's beaches offer calm waters, making this an ideal place to swim. The bay's six shipwrecks also make this area a great spot for snorkeling. Marine animals you may see while exploring these gentle waters include rock lobsters, turtles and fish.

The wrecks are obviously another important contributor to the popularity of Carlisle Bay. For those seeking an adventure, you will not be disappointed with the sight of these sunken treasures.

2.00Too many people in a too-crowded area. No fins provided or available, which is a major omission on any snorkeling adventure. Turtle viewing was a waste of time. Shipwreck was nice - lots of fishes - but no information given as to what we were looking at. Again, way too many people.

4.00This was my first time snorkeling. I was very anxious but the crew were very good at putting me at ease. I followed their instructions and was able to see various fish, the shipwreck however I didn't see any turtles, I understood these weren't guaranteed. 1.5 hours was sufficient for me. The experience alone was exhilarating and I would do it again. Highly recommended.

5.00Great little trip staff amazing but please don’t expect to be swimming with turtles. You see a few small turtles that are swimming way beneath you that you struggle to see. The ship wreck is great as they feed the fish while you are in the water so you get surrounded. Also if the tour is busy you are constantly getting kicked by other people

5.00The crew was amazing. We are traveling with our 2 1/2 year old and they ensured he was well taken care of. The shipwreck is quite the view and pretty much a guarantee to see a sea turtle. Highly recommend this adventure.

5.00This was an amazing experience for me and my wife. We don't know how to swim and they were still able to accommodate. We saw a sunken ship and fish while snorkeling. Turtles during Dec were hard to spot but we were able to see 1. We HIGHLY recommend the crew of Tranquility.

5.00Wonderful, short tour, giving us exactly what we wanted without extra frills or extra cost. Staff was very friendly, and the equipment was good. Shipwrecks were a must see, and with the staff flotation vests provided we always felt very safe.
