This was a fabulous day. We started by going to the local market and getting the seafood ingredients. We made sangria had tapas with it. Delicious! We then were taught how to clean squid, muscles and shrimp. We all participated in making a huge pan of paella. At the end we made an almond cake. The food was delicious. This was a very informative class and great meal.

OMG...what a wonderful experience. Maria and Alberto were so nice and clearly experts in their field. The Paella was out of this world and they taught so clearly how to make it. We thoroughly enjoyed this experience. So much fun!

I don't consider myself a cook, but I like learning. I also love paella. Here you learn a lot of the process. Expect to do some of the ugly stuff behind processing fish. The fish from the market needs work before it can be used. I was very disappointed that we did not go to the market to buy the food. Frankly, that should have been disclosed in advance. This particular Saturday, the market was closed due to a bank holiday. But the fun behind making the paella made up for it. They also gave us sangria, tapas, and dessert. Very enjoyable

A fun experience. I was a solo traveler and was welcomed by Miguel and the other participants. The market was fun to see. I learned a lot during the cooking and everything tasted yummy.

The class…combined with a party was fantastic! I highly recommend it as it is truly hands on, fun and delicious! We started with beautiful tapas and learned how to make sangria (which we sipped on for the entire class!) the chef guided us as we prepared all of the seafood and then showed us step by step how it all comes together! He was amazing! We will definitely be preparing paella when we get home!

This was one of the highlights of Barcelona! We learned how to not only make paella, but also sangria and almond cake. We had a great time cooking (and drinking!) and will definitely make this for friends when we get back home.
