After Pickup, we will start our journey towards Barisal by AC Private Car. It takes around 4-5 hours. After reaching, we will check into the hotel, take some rest, and go for lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the Barisal town and experience local urban culture, visit old markets, ship Terminal and more. In the evening we will come back to hotel.

Very early in the morning, around 5 AM, we will start our car journey to Banaripara. After reaching there, our country boat will start cruising through the canal and the river. This is a wonderful moment when it goes through the tiny canals. You’ll see the village's beauty and people's lifestyle from very close, and definitely it will impress you. **Guava Market is only available in June, July & August. Other floating markets are available throughout the year. Visit the Vegetable Floating Market, Rice Floating Market, and many more aspects of village life. Depending on the season, we will take a small boat to explore local villages and a place where vegetables are growing in the floating garden. On the way, we will visit the Guthia Mosque.

After, we will drive 4-5 hours towards Dhaka and drop you off at the airport or your place.

5.00I booked the Barisal Backwater tour without knowing too much about Bangladesh honestly… and now I feel this was the best decision of my whole trip. We started early morning from Dhaka by comfortable ac car, and honestly the whole trip felt very different from typical tours. The highlight for me was the floating markets. Not made for tourists at all — just local people trading rice, vegetables and so many things on boats like it’s a normal day. You just stand there watching everything happen around you, very raw and real. We also visited nearby villages, walked through small paths, and interacted with locals. People were friendly, some curious, kids waving all the time 😄. The backwater boat ride was very peaceful. Narrow canals, greenery everywhere… just quiet and relaxing after the busy city. The Guide was great — easygoing, helpful, and made everything smooth without over-talking.
