Basque cuisine is world famous. This experience was amazing and we got very short time. We discovered dishes and recipes that we didn’t know and were delighted. Highly recommended. The chef Erik explained everything very well and made the class very enjoyable.

I recently attended a cooking class in San Sebastian, and it exceeded all my expectations! The class was hands-on, informative, and incredibly fun. Our chef instructor was not only a culinary expert but also a fantastic storyteller, sharing the rich history and traditions behind each dish we prepared. We started by visiting a local market, where we selected the freshest ingredients. This was a wonderful experience in itself, as we learned how to choose the best produce and seafood. Back in the kitchen, we were guided step-by-step through the process of creating authentic Basque dishes. The recipes were well-organized and easy to follow, making it enjoyable for both novice and experienced cooks. The highlight was, of course, sitting down to enjoy the meal we had created together. Each dish was bursting with flavor, and the pride of having cooked it ourselves made it taste even better. The class also included perfectly paired local wines, which complemented the food beautifully. This cooking class is a must-do for anyone visiting San Sebastian. It’s a delightful way to immerse yourself in Basque culture and cuisine. I left with new skills, great memories, and a deeper appreciation for the art of Basque cooking. Highly recommended!

Me and my daughter booked this activity with local experts and everything was fantastic. We cooked a lot with supervisor chef and at the end of the class we all tasted the pintxos, the cod and the dessert. It was lot of food. Great choice to get deep in Basque Gastronomy.

In this 3-hour class, we learned to make pintxos, bacalao, and Basque cheese cake. Our instructor, made the class fun and showed us how we could make a variety of pintxos from these basic recipes. We tasted all the food paired with local Txakoli wine. It was absolutely fantastic.

This experience is a great way not just to remember this amazing city, but to be here again whenever you want. They show you how to prepare seven of the most traditional 'pintxos' of San Sebastian, in a simple, relaxed and easy way. So back at home, anytime you want, you can prepare some of them and turn your kitchen into a 'pintxo bar'... and feel a little bit closer to this incredible city.

This was a top highlight of our visit to San Sebastian. Our instructor made the experience memorable. We prepared, under his guidance 4 different pintxos with local ingredients. I specially loved the one with mushrooms. We also learnt to cook a dessalted cod dish with pil pil sauce created with olive oil and cod´s gelatine, it was absolutely fantastic and shocking cooking such a thick sauce. For dessert we cooked a local cheese cake. This was all spent while tasting local white wine Txakoli. We ate all the food and it was lot of food. A very enjoyable moment in our trip to San Sebastian.

We took this pintoxs cooking class and Loved it! It was simple and delicious. Marianna taught the class and she was wonderful. Her love of cooking made the class even more enjoyable. We made basic pintoxs, a couple larger main dishes and cheese cake for dessert. Each course was paired with local wine. I would recommend this class for people who love to cook or people who love good food.

Worth the time. Worth the money. And lots of fun. Should be more aptly called a cooking demonstration rather than a cooking class. We watched Chef Nick prepare 7 different dishes and enjoyed tasting them all. Good opportunity to learn specific techniques on preparing a diverse set of local foods. Conducted in the working kitchen of a local restaurant. Really well done and organized. Highly recommend doing this while in town!
