Arnhem Central Station
The route starts near the Arnhem Central railway statin, in front of the SPAR supermarket, and our story of the Battle of Arnhem begins. During the route, you will be provided with information in photos that have a meaning to the location you are at.
Before you arrive at the St. Elisabeths (former) Hospital, you've had a few other stops on the route. There is much to tell about the Utrechtsestraat, and a little bit further, you will have a great view over the South of Arnhem at the lookout point. The St. Elisabeths Hospital is one of the most iconic buildings in Arnhem, and it was of great importance during the Battle of Arnhem. Although much fighting took place around the former hospital, the hospital itself was spared due to its function.

Arnhem is a small town with a lot of history. Part of Operation Market Garden was in Arnhem. This tour will give you highlights of several key events and locations within this historical time period.
