  Chartered their 43 foot bavaria for the day for my wife’s birthday. We had an amazing day cruising up the coast stopping to swim and snorkel. David the skipper was brilliant, so knowledgable and friendly and made sure we had a great time. Latchi Waterports sorted everything for us, with birthday decorations in the cabin and even a great fish and meat meze that was delivered by speedboat to the yacht.   Yesterday we had the pleasure of being out on the water with Latchi watersports, from the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and very approachable. We have been coming here for many years, it never disappoints and our whole family look forward to experience, it really is a delight to behold and an experience that you should have. Once you’ve been once you will be coming back every year, the freedom and pleasure of being out on the sea is unmatched and Latchi watersports make it that little bit more enjoyable and stress free. Today we had the pleasure of a half day charter with captain Dave on the luxury yacht Baveria C42 and it did not disappoint. Dave took us along the coast visiting the coves, he gave us unlimited options, his knowledge of the coast line was fantastic, he’s also a true gent and no request was too much. We moored at a bay, had lunch snorkelled, had a powerboat take the kids out on an inflatable and came home watching the sun set on our return. Personally I would like to thank the whole team at Latchi for their professionalism and helping to make our day a memory to remember for the rest of our holiday. You guys really are the best and are the only place to hire a boat in Cyprus! From everyone else on the charter yesterday they too would like to pass their thanks and gratitude.

  

  

  

  

  

• Half day Yacht

  We had the most amazing day on the Bavaria yacht yesterday. From arriving at Latchi Watersports, we were well looked after, nothing was too much, we couldn’t have asked for more from Thea and the Team. The yacht was stunning and easily fitted the 11 of us on. Captain Dave was excellent, navigating us for the afternoon along the coast. Getting to sail back at the end of the day, watching the stunning sunset out of the back of the Yacht made the day that extra special. This isn’t our first visit to Latchi Watersports, and certainly won’t be our last.

  We had a fantastic time at Latchi. Just brilliant! It was the highlight of our holiday. My wife, two daughters (11 and 14), and I really enjoyed the freedom of having our own boat and moving as we please. We were looked after by James, who was great and really helped to make the day special. Due to the facemask and shades he had on at the beginning, it wasn't until later on I twigged that I had been speaking to the same person 3 all through the day! He sent, us off, checked up on us near to the caves, then brought us back in at the end. Instructions were clear, and he was more than happy to repeat anything I needed to hear again. We're back in the UK now, but looking forward to visiting these guys again next time we're in Cyprus! Note to self and tip for others: Next time I'll have to bring polarising shades; the sun's reflection on the sea can make it hard to navigate the crowded waters near to the Blue Lagoon.

  We rented a boat for a family of 5 and had a great day. The staff were punctual, accommodating, friendly and professional and couldn’t have done more to help and assist. This was well organised and we were met immediately on arrival and they took time to explain the routes, area and how to operate the boat. On the water they have staff in their own boats who volunteered to assist us, jumping on our boat to help us navigate closer to where we were going, without hitting the reef! There were also no hidden costs which is something I always worry about when using a company I don’t know. We had an excellent day and very happy to recommend this company.

  We had originally booked for a 4 hour self-drive boat hire on Monday, however when we arrived we were told that rare strong winds meant we weren’t able to take the boat out that day. All the staff at the desk were extremely helpful and friendly, and offered a refund or to change the date. We decided to change the day for two days later, and again were met with really friendly staff who also upgraded us to a faster boat for the same price. Having been guided through instructions and advice on where to dock, snorkel etc, we had a fantastic few hours at sea. The boat was clean, comfortable, and included a coolbox - they’re happy for you to take alcohol on too. Even the two family members who get sea sick loved it! When we came back, another member of staff came out to dock the boat for us, and the whole team were happy to chat to us about our afternoon. To top off a really good experience, they requested that our rubbish from the boat was left with them as they take great care in recycling in a number of different materials/bins. Really couldn’t recommend them enough. Would definitely book again!

  Had TWO excellent 4hour rental sessions of boats. This is the 2nd time we have been back to Laatchi Watersports and this holiday we visited 3 times :) All the staff are fab, equipment is brilliant and the location is of course wonderful. It's an experience to take a boat out along the coast and drop into the coves/bays and of course the Blue Lagoon. When we were having trouble with the anchor one of the safety boats was on hand to help. Visit the bays, take some bread and snorkels...you won't be dissapointed.

  Well not quite sure where to start. We've had the best day of our holiday so far on our boat trip and we're a family that loves to party and knows how to have fun! Our driver, Paul was a laugh and a half, too. We all felt so comfortable and those 4 hours was definitely money well spent, couldn't recommend the service enough. We did some snorkeling learnt about the surrounding areas. Even when we moored up to land all the other staff were joking and chatting with us making sure we had a great time. Felt very looked after and had lots of fun :)

  We hired 2 speedboats with donuts and a wakeboard for a very reasonable price. Compared to paying for all this separately or paying for a boat trip to one place it was well worth the money as we could visit lots of places in the 4 hours. We had a brilliant day and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend.

  A brilliant day out. The company is really well organised and look after you well while being really relaxed at the same time. We were given a great brief on how to drive the boat by Rob from Llanfairpywwgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch backed up by radio contact with the Centre plus numerous company workers on the water with tour boats and rescue boats. So Cyprus’ insanely relaxed rules on allowing untrained grockles to drive speedboats without prior experience suddenly becomes morally acceptable. The coastline is amazing. Top tip, get to the mildly disappointing Blue Lagoon as soon as possible then leave it to the tour boats. The other bays are individually fantastic. We saw a basking turtle in the first few minutes of our trip, I suspect they make themselves scarce once the sea becomes busy. Nothing but praise for Latchi Watersports but one suggestion. We picked up loads of rubbish from the sea and beaches - a bin bag with each boat would have been useful. It might even be possible to suggest to clients that everyone should scoop up a couple of bits of rubbish as they leave? Loved it all. Thank you! The Henman
