Visiting the Hole in the Rock is weather dependent. If conditions are not suitable, and alternative route will be taken throughout the islands

Bay of Islands
Join us on board as we cruise the 144 Sub-tropical Islands in the Bay of Islands. Marine wildlife, Commentary & History through the day, with two remote island stopovers (Roberton Island & a second island location determined on the day) with easy walking tracks stunning viewpoints over the bay, as well as snorkelling/swimming. Smaller groups, personalised, and interactive - the best way to experience the Bay of Islands.
Check in at PIER 10 on the Paihia wharf, please arrive 15 minutes before your departure time

5.00My hubby and I had a great time on the Bay of Islands tour. We experienced the beauty of the area, enhanced by seeing blue penguins in the wild as well as our climb to the top of the outlook hill at our first island stop.

5.00What a fantastic trip. We were very lucky to have calm seas and saw dolphins, a sun fish and huge shoals of fish on the surface of the water. The trip was made even more memorable by our Skipper (Captain) Blair and the lovely Dan who was very informative and clearly love their jobs… they deserve a pay rise! Our Captain also managed to steer his way through the hole in the rock which was breathtaking. All in all 10/10.

5.00This trip was a must do in Northland. The bay of Islands is a beautiful spot and seeing it from the water is a great way to appreciate what vistas it has to offer. This outing includes a boat ride to a couple islands with picturesque views, in addition despite some moderately rough seas outside the islands we were able to see plenty of wildlife and when we go to the hole in the rock the captain deemed it safe to go through the hole. At our second island stop they had snorkel gear that we utilized and did see a few small snapper, red moki and some other shallow water fish. The visibility wasn't great that day but was still worth swimming around. Overall the captain and crew did a great job and kept the passangers entertained with historical tidbits, stories, dad jokes, and creature information. The other nice thing about this company is they are locally owned and contribute part of their revenue to the preservation of the ecosystem in the bay of Islands.

5.00The whole trip was fantastic from start to finish the captain Nick was incredible along with his crew especially Audrey ! Although it was too rough to visit the hole in the rock we didn’t feel we missed out we even saw a pod of dolphins Unmissable trip if you visit the bay of islands

5.00The tour of the Bay of Islands to Hole in the Rock can be booked through many agencies. But this is the best place to be. The boats are small and the atmosphere familiar. You get into conversation with the fellow travelers and the staff is also very friendly and helpful. We had a very nice day trip. Thank you so much!
