Great trip, and definitely worth the stop. The hostel is lovely where Emilie and Michelle were so attentive, making sure we had the best stay possible.

This trip is far, far to expensive for what you get. It is just a taxi drive to the beach where the kangeroos are, with a very simple breakfest after feeding the kangeroos. We where back in town 8 am in stead of the anounced 9 am. It is not well organised

This is a nice Tour. Michelle is very knowledgeable and a great communicator. The day was cloudy and a little windy so it was quite dark for photos but the wallabies and kangaroos still treated us with a visit. I enjoyed my morning there. A short hike up to the lookout was very nice and Michelle spitting out facts about the surrounding was very interesting. A little snacky breakfast was also provided.

Amazing Sunrise Tour!! The tour was absolutely incredible – perfectly organized and such a special experience. Our guide Michelle made it unforgettable! She’s super friendly, open, and has such a warm personality. I felt really comfortable the whole time. She shared super interesting facts in a fun and understandable way – never boring for a second! Plus, she always offered to take photos, which was a lovely touch. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Michelle as your guide!

I did the Sandy Hop tour. It was very nice. The hostel alone was amazing. Very clean, and nice. The staff and tour guides were nice!

What an amazing stay!! We only had 24 hours at Mackay, but it was one of the best 24 hours we have had. From the arrival of our stay, Amanda was so accommodating! We were picked up off our greyhound and shuttled back to the lodge, we hadn’t thought about what to have for dinner and Amanda made sure we go to Aldi before it closed! On arrival we were moved from a sharing dorm to a private twin, which was the best added touch! Really helped out with recharging our social batteries! I must say this was the first hostel I have felt clean in. We had the wallabies sunrise the next morning at 4:20 am and this was such a good tour! Rueben our tour guide brought life and energy to early start, with a lot of information about the area and the surroundings. Not to forget some funny stories and a good sense of humour. We had a little picnic after a short hike to the view point to look or the bay. This was a good added extra and everything was well thought of. We got back to the lodge and realised we only had 45 minutes until check out, we asked Amanda if it was possible to have an extra two hours to catch up on some sleep and this was no problem at all! The kitchen amenities were spot on and so clean at all times! It made us want to cook over ordering out. If anyone is considering staying here we recommend 10/10! Thank you to all the staff 😁
