Several bears show up almost every time and occasionally even foxes and other wild animals.
The guide speaks fluent English is born and raised in the Brasov area and has lots of knowledge about the brown bears.
Rain doesn't affect this experience in a negative way. Bears aren't bothered by it and neither the tourists as we go directly from car to hideout. (Minimal rain exposure)
This is a small group tour, but it can be also become a private one, if no one else books on the day!

What To Expect
Brasov
You will be driven from Brasov to a hideout in a nearby Transylvanian forest by a licensed tour guide that will provide lots of interesting info about these beautiful wild animals! In the hideout you will observe the brown bears during feeding time. A ranger will accompany us too. After the tour, you will be driven back to Brasov. P.S.: A guided tour of the Bran Castle (Dracula Castle) can be organized as an extra, depending on availability. You can ask for this via message after booking.

5.00This was amazing. The team that ran the experience were brilliant - especially our driver and guide Radu. A knowledgeable, helpful and wonderful person. The experience itself couldn’t have been better with 7 or 8 bears making an appearance including large males, females and several juveniles. The guides were armed with binoculars to share and there were plenty of opportunities to take great photos. Thank you. It was amazing.

5.00Vlad is one of the most knowledgeable tour guides I have ever had. During the ride to the hideout, he explained a lot about the bears and the situation Romania is facing with them, answered all our questions perfectly and really set the stage for what was to come. At the hideout we quickly went inside and stayed very quiet, 3 bears took one minute to come to the “stage”! We stayed for about one hour watching them in their natural habitat. We really liked this amazing and unique experience. Would 100% recommend to make this tour when in Romania/Brasov 😁🐻

5.00Absolutely breathtaking to be able to see these animals in the wild. We saw four bears in total. Vlad and Simona were friendly, prompt and very knowledgeable. An overall excellent experience that I fully recommend doing if you're interested in Romanian wildlife.

5.00One for the bucket list to be ticked off and who better to share the experience with than the amazing Vlad! From start to finish Vlad shares all his knowledge with you and there is a lot he knows!!! We spent just over an hour in the hide and it truly was a magical experience seeing these huge creatures happy in their natural environment ! The hide is deep in a forest and is in the most beautiful setting!

5.00Saw three bear one fox. Guide informatiive, bring us a binocular to watch the bear. More important he contact me before the tour and respond to my message. Which I find out that some tour company did not answer my message in mid afternoon and waited until the last moment say 9pm in the evening to tell me the tour is cancelled
