Oingt
You will start the tour with a stop in the middle of the Golden stones area. We will explain the origin and the typology of this vineyard and introduce you to this voluptuous and fruity wine during a tasting of white and red.
Le Bois-d'Oingt
After crossing lovely villages surrounded by vines, you will visit a local wine estate. You will immediately be immersed in the friendly atmosphere of Beaujolais when you will meet the producer. You will taste several red wines but also white and maybe some rosés. This is a good introduction to Beaujolais wines, that, we hope, will give you the desire to come back and taste more !

We had the most fantastic afternoon on the wine tour with François. We visited two vineyards and the hospitality from the winemakers was excellent. François was so knowledgable and engaging. We came away knowing so much about the Beaujolais and got to taste plenty of fantastic wine!!! A fabulous day and we would definitely do another when we are in the area again. Thank you François!

My friend and I had an amazing time on the Beaujolais wine tour from Lyon. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The drive through the countryside was beautiful, with rolling vineyards and charming villages that really set the mood for the day. We visited two wineries, and both stops felt genuinely special in their own way. Each winery had its own character and atmosphere, and we loved learning about their different approaches to wine-making. The tastings were generous, the wines were delicious, and it was really interesting to compare the styles and hear the stories behind them. A big part of what made the experience so memorable was our host. He was extremely friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. He shared so much great information about the region and the wines, but always in a relaxed and enjoyable way. It never felt rushed — just fun, engaging, and easygoing.

Great experience, very knowledgeable guide. Transportation was modern and on time. Both wineries were of high quality family owned businesses. Very friendly and engaging.

Julie was a great guide! She is so warm and approachable and is incredibly knowledgeable in wine without making you feel silly when you ask her questions. We enjoyed the drive, the views during golden hour, and the wineries we visited. We loved seeing family-run businesses and they’re so passionate and proud of their work - as they should be.

We spent 4 fantastic hours with Romain. He is very competent and very familiar with the wine concepts of this region. Visits to both vineyards were great. It's worth it! Written by 2 Québécois.

I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. We had a wonderful morning with Romain as our guide out into the stunning Beaujolais countryside. Both wine producers are welcoming and happily don't spend hours talking about how they make their wine (once you've heard it once you'd heard it). 5 wines to try at each stop with nibbles to accompany, it was a great trip

Eddie was a perfect guide. Good wine visits, the easy serving was perfect. Got to experience the first day of harvesting and taste a lot of good wine. Can be recommended

I was not sure what to expect from a tour I stumbled upon trip advisor. But we wanted a wine tour out of Lyon, so I booked it on a whim. This day far surpassed my expectations. François was a very knowledgeable and charismatic guide. We went to scenic overlook and learned all about the region and history of winemaking. It was beautiful, and it didn't hurt that the weather was fantastic. We toured two working wineries, tasted the grapes, met the owners, and sampled several delicious wines along with cheese, bread, and chocolate at each place. Everywhere we looked there was another lovely view. The wines for purchase were very inexpensive, and there was zero pressure to buy anything. I highly recommend this trip if you are looking to explore the region and try some wines with a guide.

Eddie was great. The Beaujolais region was interesting and such a beautiful countryside. Eddie, our host was great. The two vineyards that we visited were very informative. I loved the second one the best with the dog mascot not Muscat!!!
