The world of bees is a magical world and we are explaining this magic to you. It is the activity that really changed the tourist guide of Delphi region.
15 minutes away from Delphi, we created an apiary, from recyclable materials, totally harmonised with the environment, that anyone can visit.
It is an enjoyable, interactive and fun experience with great interest, where someone can learn about bee's life and its role in human’s life. We think it's something unique, at least in Greece. The success of our site is imprinted on tourism sites like TripAdvisor and Google with awards and the great reviews we are receiving. Visit our website for more information or to book a visit.

Incredibly knowledgeable and passionate guides who've singlehandedly built up a fantastic site. Well worth a visit.

We were just the two of us and had a lovely tour from Nick while John apped us the shortest route etc. Well arranged and lucky: seen everything from Queen to all kinds of cells and types of bees. Highly recommended.

This was one of the most interesting and informative presentations we have heard. John was extremely knowledgeable and taught us to appreciate the bees, bee keeping and importance of saving them. We would have loved a video of his presentation to take home for our kids, families and friends. Highly recommend visiting them!

Yiannis and the team welcomed us with delicious Greek Coffee and followed up with an enthralling and passionate talk about all things bees from how they grow, work, communicate and the bee hierarchy to how we can help protect them and the honey industry. Seeing the bees up close and personal once in our suits was also great fun. We left so much more knowledgeable about bees but also how we can make a difference once home.

This was a stop on our OAT tour. I confess that, initially, I was not terribly excited about going. Was I ever WRONG! It ended up being a fantastic experience and I'm SO GLAD we went! The presentation was fabulous and the food was extraordinary! Do NOT miss this opportunity if you are in the area of Itea/Delphi, Greece!

This was a wonderful visit as part of an organised tour. Ioannis spent a lot of time educating us about bees before we went to see the hives. An all round excellent experience which had me buzzing.

We visited this business as part off an organised tour and we were blown away by the knowledge and passion of those who worked there. Very interesting and never boring. They had all the gear ready for us to wear over our existing clothing to enable an up close but safe experience with the bees and the hives. A range of bee and olive oil products available for purchase but need to be sure of your home countries bio security laws if you are taking the honey home.

How we enjoyed the reception and all the stories. If you're around here, be sure to go. Everyone works here with passion. Nick and colleagues thank you for the educational afternoon and a glimpse into your lives.

Our family (including kids aged 11 and 13) had a wonderful time with the MoKa crew for the honey tour. The founders themselves grew up in the area and after establishing careers in entomology and guiding in tropical forests, decided to return home to start MoKa in an effort to bring greater awareness to the remarkable complexity of honey bee biology and social structure, human beings critical reliance on bees, and how they are serving as a wakeup call for greater environmental responsibility. The whole place is built with repurposed lumber and an eye towards sustainability and education with the end product being a beautiful fit-for-purpose site (gorgeous views), perfect for show-casing the region and bee-keeping. Our guide was one of the founders and after settling the grown-ups with a cup of freshly brewed Greek-style coffee, he walked us all through the details of bee biology and society in an engaging way which appealed to both the kids and the adults. The best part was getting suited up and being given a chance to hold combs and receive a comb-by-comb tour through the surprisingly complex architecture of a hive. We even got to pet the bees which was super fun (very kid friendly)! The tour wrapped up with a serving of fruit drizzled in honey and the chance to taste all of their products as well as test some of their beeswax balms. The shop is super cute with a nicely curated selection of products. If you just want a place to taste honey, this may not the experience for you. But if you love biology, are curious about bees, or want to learn more about how/why the future of bees is imperiled and what can be done about it, this is perfect for you (and, yes, taste some yummy honey). If you come by your own car, there is a short drive up a steep and narrow lane with very limited parking. Alternatively, you can park in the large area below and walk up the drive. If arranged in advance, one of the employees can chauffer you up if you have mobility concerns (we spotted him ferrying people to-and-from a tour group parked below).

Well worth the trip! Honey Farm doesn't describe this wonderful education center. No pressure to buy at all, just an educational tour of bee keeping and the importance of bees in the environment. A unique center, beautiful setting, welcoming hosts. Allow plenty of time to spend in this lovely setting.
