WE had Yolanda for 3 wonderful days in Beijing -- Great Wall, Dinner, Basketball games, breakfast tour, market, Summer palace, T Square, Forbidden City. Everything was top-notch and easy. SHE is a spectacular guide, very smart and knowledgeable...easy to be around. Likes Pete's Coffee.

I really loved this Beijing food & culture tour with Jason. He’s such an engaging guide who made our group feel comfortable right away. We chatted easily with one another and had a great, laid‑back time in the morning. We got to explore real local hutongs, street markets and quiet areas around the Drum Tower and lakeside that I’d never find by myself. It felt like seeing Beijing from a local’s point of view instead of just visiting typical tourist sites. Jason told us lots of unique stories about the city’s history, daily life and the food we tried, sharing fun cultural facts most tourists don’t hear about. We tried a great mix of authentic Beijing snacks and dishes at small local spots. My favorite part was walking through the evening hutongs while hearing stories about old Beijing. This whole experience was a real highlight of my trip, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone wanting a genuine, off‑tourist‑path adventure.

I had such an amazing experience on this Beijing food and culture tour. Laura was an incredibly passionate and energetic guide who made the whole evening so fun and welcoming. She was really good at creating conversations between everyone, so we quickly became friends instead of just strangers on a tour. The atmosphere was relaxed, lively, and full of laughter the entire time. What made this experience special was how authentic it felt. We explored Hutongs, local streets, food markets, and areas around the Drum Tower and the lake that I probably would never have discovered by myself. It truly felt like experiencing Beijing like a local instead of just visiting tourist attractions. Laura also shared so many interesting stories about Beijing history, local daily life, and the background behind different dishes. She explained cultural details and “hidden” facts about China that many foreigners normally wouldn’t know, which made the tour much deeper than just a food tour. The food itself was incredible and there was so much variety. We visited many different eateries and tried classic Beijing dishes and snacks, from dumplings and noodles to traditional local flavors. Every stop felt carefully chosen and very authentic. I especially loved that the tour combined food, culture, history, and real neighborhood life all together. One of my favorite parts was simply walking through the evening streets and Hutongs while hearing stories about old Beijing. It gave me a completely different feeling of the city. This experience genuinely made me feel like I was traveling as a local rather than as a tourist, and it became one of the highlights of my trip to Beijing. Highly recommend, especially if you want a more genuine and immersive experience.
