  Waking up before the city and hotel is unusual when on vacation, but definitely worth it for this trip from Shanghai to Beijing to walk the steps of the Great Wall of China. From start to end it was a well organised trip and we felt taken care of. A very informative guide showing us the wall and teaching us the history. Definetly worth it!

  I recently had the incredible opportunity to tour the Great Wall of China, and I can honestly say it was an experience of a lifetime! From start to finish, the tour was flawlessly organized and exceeded all expectations. The highlight of the tour was our amazing guide. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable about the history and significance of the Great Wall, but she was also genuinely caring and attentive to the needs of the entire group. Her passion for the site really shone through in her detailed explanations, making every step of the journey feel special. She made sure everyone was comfortable, offering helpful tips on how to navigate the wall’s steep sections and ensuring we all felt safe and supported throughout. Her storytelling brought the history to life, and her enthusiasm was contagious—truly a standout feature of the day. Whether it was answering our questions or encouraging us to take in the breathtaking views, it was clear she was dedicated to making this tour a memorable experience for everyone. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting China! The Great Wall is absolutely stunning, and having such a knowledgeable and caring guide made the entire experience even more remarkable.   Sunny communicated with us and let us know what to expect at each phase of our trip to Beijing. Charlie, our driver, picked us up promptly at our hotel and took us directly to our seats on the train. Our local guide, Vivi, was incredibly knowledgeable about the local history and culture, making the tour feel like a fascinating story rather than just a list of facts. The tour of the Great Wall was awe-inspiring. Vivi was very accommodating to our needs, even when we had a few last-minute questions or requests. For example, she allowed us to shop, made food recommendations, and even served as an interpreter as we bartered with local vendors. Vivi is an excellent photographer, too. She took pictures of us and shared them once she escorted us to our train for Shanghai. At our request, Vivi drove us around Tiananmen Square while giving us the history of the square and the Forbidden City. Vivi had a wonderful sense of humor and kept the tour engaging. We truly felt like we experienced the city through the eyes of a local, thanks to Vivi’s insights. When we arrived back in Shanghai, Charlie was waiting for us to take us back to our hotel. Every aspect of our tour was perfect, and I highly recommend Sunny Private Tours.

  OMG , Vivian was absolutely a 10 star guide. She was knowledgeable both on history and culturally. Michael and I learned so many things from her. Dragon , the driver was patient and a great driver er in the rush hour traffic. We loved walking the wall and the slide ….. I was laughing the whole way down. Such fun and a great suggestion. Her lunch suggestion was great. It was great to share farming stories as well since we saw many on the train here. Vivian was great and we feel quite lucky to have had her as our guide to The Great Wall. Vivian went far above to ensure we had an enjoyable trip.
