You will see Beirut the way we see it: clustered, multi-layered, amazingly rich and seriously crazy! We will go from East to West, passing by the main landmarks but also adding some less visited neighborhoods like Zokak El Blat and Bashoura. And be ready for some yummy street food and some beers!

Got a solo tour with Georges since many cancellations due to the unrest in Beirut the night before. But everything was calm in the morning and he took me on a fascinating trip through some of Beirut's many neighborhoods, some which I probably wouldn't have ventured out to on my own. Tour was filled with lot of information why Lebanon/Beirut is what it is today. Can surely recommend this tour to anyone who is for the first time in Beirut.

I had a great tour with George: after a perfect communication from the beginning, he was an excellent guide: very friendly and presented the complex story of Beirut in an entertaining but also very reflective way. Highly recommendable!

George is unforgettable! Its generosity, its love of people, its joy and humor, its extraordinary historical and scientific culture make you love from the very first moments all the faces and contradictions of this surprising country. Its present and past, its diverse communities, its history and its political life, Lebanon as a whole becomes extraordinarily close and familiar to you. An indispensable visit to discover Beirut beyond clichés and meet those who make it live and vibrate today.

One of the best city walking tours I’ve ever taken. Georges is a geophysicist who specialized in archaeology before becoming a tour guide. Intelligent, young, cynical, honest, political, funny. In one day you see Beirut’s beauty and it’s warts: ancient ruins preserved and destroyed; remnants of the civil war; Christian, Sunni and Shiia neighborhoods; learn a bit about Beirut’s Jewish history; understand the tensions that built up to today’s anti-government protests. Don’t miss it.

George is an absolutely wonderful person and an amazing guide! The walking tour captures the essence of the city; something that guide books may not tell you about. I went during the protests, and George was kind enough to explain what was going on and why it is was going on. I am a politically-charged proton with a keen interest in politics and history of the world - so this was perfect for me. During the tour, we walked through different neighbourhoods, ate at local joints, learnt about the Lebanese hierarchy of needs (Fairuz first, people!), and got an insight into everything that shaped the city, and continues to do so. George keeps the tour fun with his contagious energy and wit. I'd highly recommend joining his walking tour and learning about the beautiful and amazing city that Beirut.
