Just finished a tour with Big Mark. The amount of knowledge he had was incredible. How on earth he remembered everything was nothing short of a miracle. Speaking to someone who has lived through The Troubles personally and able to give their personal account was invaluable. We travelled between the two sides of West Belfast, crossing the peace line. The murals and remembrance walls on both sides provide a telling story of troubles past and possibly future. Thanks Mark.

A terrific and insightful tour into Irish, and particularly modern Irish history, brought to real life by the brilliant Mark, who grew up during The Troubles and whose family lived through it. Fascinating to get behind the headlines and newspapers. A must-do.

This tour was excellent, interesting and fascinating! I've always wondered about this period of time in Irish history and the information provided answered all of my questions. It was truly eye opening.

My partner and I very much enjoyed the tour. Very informative and interesting insight into a dark period in Northern Irelands history. Thanks to Rob for giving such an unbiased viewpoint. Just told it how it was. Top man, would heartily recommend!

Our tour guide Jim arrived at our meeting spot on time, introduced himself to all of us (2 couples) and gave us a brief overview of what the tour would be covering. Jim was very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, providing a raft of very interesting facts and context on the troubles, key people and places and Belfast today. Jim was patient and responsive, answering all of our questions as we travelled around all the incredibly interesting (and very moving) key stops around the Shankhill Road and Falls Road. At the end of the tour Jim offered to drop us wherever we wanted to be - which was a pub serving some of the best Guiness! We all learned so much on the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Belfast.
