  If you’re looking to do a tour, John is your man! Not only is he incredibly nice & welcoming, but he’s also a wealth of knowledge. He took the time to thoroughly explain each area & offered a balanced perspective. Highly recommend!

  I have done the tour many times over the years, but John was by far the best. It was great getting his personal insights from growing up on both sides of the community. He gave a great a honest view of all sides and highlighted the losses on both sides. I can not highly enough recommend John as a tour guide for anyone following up. The data dump of amazing resources when we were done was an even bigger bonus!

  John was a stellar tour guide through the neighborhoods of Belfast. His real life experience and history added a very personal touch to the tour that I haven’t felt on any other similar tours. Well done mate!

  What an incredible insight into the history of Northern Island, John was a very informative guide, with personal experience examples added, clearly a very knowledgeable guy, whose ability to relay events was very interesting, when being shown around the areas. Would highly recommend.

  My son and I had an absolutely brilliant and insightful political tour of Belfast today thanks to our driver John. He was top class. This tour has been on my bucket list for a long time and it did not disappoint. We got to see everything we wanted and more. Thanks again John. Would strongly recommend his tour

  We certainly learned a lot from our driver Brandon who actually lived through this period of history. An hour and a half went quickly and we were able to get a good overview of both sides of “The Troubles”. We were fortunate to have a lovely afternoon for getting in and out of the taxi.

  We booked our tour the night before after a friend recommended it as a way to really learn about Ireland's fight for freedom, and it totally exceeded our expectations. John was an incredible guide and so knowledgeable with direct personal experience. So much respect for anyone in this role having to, daily, describe to people what happened in your city, create an even accounting of events, relive traumatic memories, and continuously hope for better for your children and community. This job almost seems more mentally exhausting than anything else and we really appreciated everything he wanted to share and teach us. We spent the rest of our trip recalling and researching many of the things we learned on the tour. We highly recommend asking for John!
