  Had such an enjoyable experience with John! Best tour I’ve done in ages. Really relaxed vibe. Really informative and loved all his personal stories. Got on so well with John - he’s a legend. Couldn’t recommend more.

  I had an amazing time with John. He is well-informed, thorough, and incredibly kind. The tour flew by we had such a great time! We were able to travel across the city and see some major sites that helped develop a real understanding of the history, political, and cultural significance of the region. I was on my own and I felt like I could ask anything and hear something interesting. I still go back to my notes from our ride, I truly felt like I learned so much. Thank you John, and thank you Belfast Black Taxi Tour! I would recommend them to anyone who wants to see the city.

  If you’re looking to do a tour, John is your man! Not only is he incredibly nice & welcoming, but he’s also a wealth of knowledge. He took the time to thoroughly explain each area & offered a balanced perspective. Highly recommend!

  I have done the tour many times over the years, but John was by far the best. It was great getting his personal insights from growing up on both sides of the community. He gave a great a honest view of all sides and highlighted the losses on both sides. I can not highly enough recommend John as a tour guide for anyone following up. The data dump of amazing resources when we were done was an even bigger bonus!

  What an incredible insight into the history of Northern Island, John was a very informative guide, with personal experience examples added, clearly a very knowledgeable guy, whose ability to relay events was very interesting, when being shown around the areas. Would highly recommend.
