5.00I did a West Belfast tour with Paul and it was the highlight of all my trips to Belfast. The tour was packed with facts and history, but what really made it special was Paul’s personal connection, hearing about his own family’s experiences during the Troubles added real depth and emotion. Paul is a genuinely kind man with a great sense of humour and plenty of craic, which made the tour both informative and enjoyable. He was an absolute gem to find and you’re in very safe hands with him. If you’re visiting Belfast, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour — Paul won’t steer you wrong. Fun Fact was finding out Paul is actually in a music video!

Got some insightful history lessons, saw places I'd heard about as a kid and got it all in a narrative from Paul who had first hand knowledge. We visited two countries and four cities on our vacation, and this was the highlight of the trip! Highly recommend!

You could tell every detail had been considered, from the route to the pacing to the way complex topics were handled with sensitivity and clarity. Paul brought the history of Belfast’s Troubles to life with passion and authenticity, weaving in personal anecdotes, political context, and local humour — there was great craic throughout, but never at the expense of the gravity of the subject matter. It was eye-opening and moving, yet also enjoyable. I would highly recommend!
