Our guide Tony was amazing!!!! He is a wealth of knowledge and has a great sense of humour. He's very engaging, and his positive perspective on the climate for the future of Ireland is refreshing. His stories felt deeply personal and heartwarming. We felt truly blessed to meet Tony and have him as our guide. We would recommend only Tony to anyone taking this tour.

We loved every minute of this tour! Michael was such a knowledgeable and friendly guide and we had a great laugh with him well as learning loads of fascinating history. I've done this tour twice now and would do it again - cannot recommend the tour and our tour guide Michael highly enough!

This was one of the very best and most unforgettable experiences in two full weeks touring Ireland and Northern Ireland. Husband and I had a private Black Cab tour with Tony (Bigtonyg40@gmail) about the strife between Irish Catholics and British Protestants. We were astounded to learn that there is still a gate and a door that lock each night to separate the two sides of town! Tony grew up here during the Troubles and has a shocking personal connection that he shares at the end of the tour, but he also knows how to step back and provide a really good historic context, especially for those of us who don't really know much about what happened. Most of all, I loved his prescription for the future: If they could get kids from both sides to go to school together and grow up as friends, that would do a lot toward healing the divisions.

This was one of the best tours I’ve ever experienced. Tony was an absolute legend from first interaction right until farewelling us. Educational and very emotional, this was absolute class. Thanks for sharing so much with us Tony, this made the trip.

Jimmy what a legend, if you want more than just a surface level tourist experience, you must book this tour. This wasn't just a history lesson; it was a deeply personal journey through the heart of Belfast, led by a guide who actually lived through the trauma of the history he shares. The level of insight provided was unparalleled. Having someone speak from first-hand experience added a layer of gravity and authenticity that you simply cannot find elsewhere. When he spoke about the divided past, it wasn't academic—it was lived. He shared the reality of the era with a raw honesty that was both moving and incredibly powerful. Thank you Jimmy for the wonderful tour experience, highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning the history of this beautiful city.

Really interesting and enjoyable political taxi tour in Belfast. The driver MICHAEL was very friendly, knowledgeable, and explained the history and political background in a way that was easy to understand. Visiting the murals and hearing the stories behind them gave us a much better understanding of Belfast’s past and present. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Belfast who wants to learn more about the city and its history !

Tour was brilliant, I had asked if it was possible to include a visit to the Kneecap murals and Billy adjusted the tour so we could see them which made our holiday as we're big Kneecap fans. Billy was such a great guide, knowledgeable, warm and absolutely sound. We learned loads about the history of Belfast. Couldn't recommend this tour highly enough! Thanks again
