This activity is the only cooking class in San Pedro. So far, this is the only Belizean Cooking experience in Belize. This is a Belizean educational and cultural experience. Family-run kitchen and restaurant. You'll feel right at home. Enjoy the dishes you prepare. We use fresh and local daily product and learn traditional cooking tips and tricks

Participants are responsible for themselves and their children for the entire duration of the class. -They agree to scrupulously follow the safety instructions provided by the organizer. -Each participant cooks at their own risk. -Participants must declare any allergies or dietary restrictions before the start of the class. -If they do not declare them, the organizer declines all liability. -In the event of an accident (cut, burn, fall, etc.), the organizer cannot be held liable, except in cases of proven negligence. In the event of an accident, the organizer may provide essential assistance but will not cover any costs incurred."

What To Expect
Discover the rich flavors of Belize during a unique cooking class! Immersed in the culinary art of the country, you will learn to prepare delicious and authentic traditional dishes. An immersive, interactive and friendly experience where you can discover local ingredients, traditional cooking techniques and the secrets of the country's most popular dishes. You will be guided by a passionate Belizean family, who will share their knowledge and love for cooking with you. You will learn how to prepare iconic dishes such as ceviche, pupusas or burritos. To your taste buds!

5.00Our kids and us really enjoyed this activity, we learned a new skill in a relaxing atmosphere and got to taste the fruits of our labor. The teachers were helpful and knowledgeable. It was a good break from the other more physically active activities we were doing on vacation.
It was like visiting family!

5.00My husband, son, and I attended this cooking class on 3/17. We had a blast. The food was delicious, and we were being taught by the family's elder (grandma). Grandma gave us a lot of kitchen gems that I plan to use at home, and she taught us a lot regarding food preparation. I highly recommend this tour!

5.00My daughter and I wanted an “experience” on our trip to San Pedro and this certainly was a great pick! She made shrimp ceviche and I made the lobster ceviche (u pic the seafood u want to use)! We made 3 different papusas and learned much about the mayan culture! Then we got to sit down with all who participated and have a meal of what we had made! Learned about how important the sunshine is to mayans and eggs! and all their cosmetic uses! So much info-the times goes by way too quickly! thank u for an awesome time!!

5.00My friends and I had an absolutely wonderful time doing this cooking class in Belize! Our instructor Oscar and his mother were so sweet and kind! Oscar translated the instructions and the class in English while his mother spoke in Spanish - which made for a super authentic adn very special experience. We loved that while learning about the meal we were cooking - we also got a brief history and cultural lesson from them as well, along with cooking tips and tricks. After cooking we sat down and ate our food with the rest of the class family style, it was great! Everything was so delicious and we had enough food to take home and eat on for the rest of the day! I look forward to makign my own Ceviche and Papusas at home someday! I would come back to take this class over and over again, it was marvelous!

5.00We had a fantastic time. The staff at the restaurant is super friendly. You get to eat what you cook. A little prework for safety in the kitchen and then you go thru exactly what you do for the ceviche and the pupusas. You do stand for a while so just know that ahead of time. You can pull up a chair if needed. You can order drinks while cooking which always makes it more fun.
