Berat Castle
A very interesting walk around the inhabited neighborhood within the castle of Berat, what makes this walk even more special. We are going to see the structure and architecture used in its walls and different churches present there, as well as mosques and the very relaxing environment.
National Iconographic Museum Onufri
This is a small iconography exhibition inside the Church of St. Mary of Blachernae on the grounds of the Berat castle. The museum was named to honor Onufri, an Albanian painting Headmaster of XVI Century. The museum features on display 173 objects belonging to the found of Albanian Churches and Monasteries from which 106 are icons by Albanian icon painters of the XVI – XX centuries: Onufri and his son Nicola, David Selenica, Kostandin Shpataraku and Cetirs (Gjergj, Nicola, Johan, Naum, Gjergj junior), as well as some anonymous painters. The other 67 items of the collection are liturgical objects.

We had a great day visiting the canyon and waterfall! The guide was amazing and a safe driver (which is not always the case in Albania). Would definitely recommend.

It was truly exceptional... Even though I had to postpone the visit for personal reasons, the boy who acted as our guide was very helpful... not only friendly but also kind, he even took group photos of us and gave advice on where to go eat and how to get around Berat and beyond. Highly recommended

Berat is a magnificent city! But to make it even more fascinating is certainly the tourist experience lived with 1001 Albanian Adventures: guided tour with a thousand anecdotes and the chance to take home a piece of local culture thanks to the wide range of souvenirs made even more special by those who make them. A really interesting project that starts from passionate and enthusiastic young people. Highly recommended!!!!
