  My wife and I highly recommend to see Norway's fjords with "See the Fjords -Private fjordcruise". We toured the fjords using this private charter. Captain Svein is from these areas and we're sure he took us to all of the picturesque highlights. We booked back-to-back full-day tours from Bergen. On the first day, we visited Modalen and on the next day we visited Hardangerfjord and Fyleksund. Both days were filled with amazing vistas although each day had its own unique views. While we would highly recommend both trips, Modalen especially offered views of the iconic Norwegian fjords we've all seen in pictures and postcards. In addition to more in the way of stunning landscape, we also enjoyed a special treat on Day 2 which was a luncheon and an apple cider tasting tour at a local apple farm. Booking with See the Fjords was very easy. The communication provided by Iselin via e-mail was prompt and clear. The address I used in planning was [email protected]. Iselin also provided transportation on Day 2 which included a few bonus visits to wonderful waterfalls along the roadside. No visit to Norway could be complete without seeing the fjords. As stated previously, we highly recommend See the Fjords for this. The price was well worth the luxurious 3-cabin/2-bath yacht. • Fantastic day with car and Fjordcruise

  Me and my wife was picked up with a BMW X5 at our hotel in Bergen a Friday morning, driving for Hardanger and the village Norheimsund. In Norheimsund the boat was waiting in the harbour, and we went out on the fjord, cruising slowly out from Norheimsund towards some suburbs, also passing a village- before we entered the Fyksesund fjord. Very nice place, so silent in here. Lovely view, and we were all alone- no other boats or traffic (I think there are no roads in here) We got some snacks on the boat, and some wine- and we had the whole day available- just sitting on the swimming deck aft on the boat, enjoying the marvelous nature and view, not a sound around us but waterfalls. Cruising back to Norheimsund, and car to Bergen. Stopped by a couple of waterfalls on the wat, Steinsdalsfossen was one, and walked behind it. Hever seen something like that before, amazing. Great day for us, reccomend it.

  We were picked up at our hotel in Bergen 09:30 a beautiful morning, by a gentleman in a BMW X5. We drove towards hardanger, and stopped at two waterfalls along the road. Most exciting was the Steinsdalsfossen, which we walked behind. Amazing experience!! We then arrived Norheimsund village and harbour, where the boat was waiting. We cruised slowly in the fjord, and reached Fyksesundet after about half an hour. We could see the fjord getting more and more narrow, and waterfalls down to the fjord. Captain manouvered the boat under the waterfalls, and we could actually shower if we wanted... We had a swim in the fjord instead, refreshing. Boat had towels and a warm shower after the swim. We explored the fjord for a while, and then returned to the car in Norheimsund, and back to Bergen. Excellent day, highly reccomended as a full day fjord excursion.
