What To Expect
The drive from Bergen offers stunning landscapes, with views of the beautiful Osterfjord and fascinating stories from your guide along the way.
After about an hour, we make a short stop — a chance to stretch your legs and use the restroom. When opening hours allow, the break is arranged at Dale Outlet, a welcoming shop located beside the historic textile factory that has made the village renowned for its quality knitwear. It offers a variety of great goods from different suppliers at reduced prices.

5.00The tour was incredible. The trip started at the scheduled time, the bus was comfortable and both driver and guide were super helpful and well mannered. Even though the tour was full, everything was well organized. The bus took us across all points of interest as planned, the food was simple but good, and we were lucky to have great weather during the whole day. Which was great for photos, and since I was by myself, the other tourists and guide were kind enough to take some of me. So thanks for that as well =) About the itinerary, I can say that Tvindefossen was a great stop to take some pictures and get the feel of the region, Flam was really interesting to visit and, of course, the views from Stegastein and the boat crossing the Nærøyfjord were absolutely breathtaking. By far the best experience I had during my stay in Norway and possibly the most surreal one I've ever had in my life. I can't emphasize enough how transformative it all was. I highly recommend this tour for everyone staying in Bergen.

5.00This experience was beautiful - so wonderfully put together by Travel North. Incredibly beautiful sights and an awesome guide. We actually booked this for Saturday, but on our way to Flåm, the road closed due to weather so we were unable to complete the tour - Travel North rerouted us so that we were still able to see a few sights, and then rebooked us for the entire tour today (Sunday). Truly no notes, I highly recommend both this experience and this tour company. They took care of us and put on an amazing tour; thank you.

3.00Pros: Great guide- Marietta was interesting, considerate, and an all around good tour guide. She even had to deal with a passenger getting on the wrong boat and it barely affected the rest of us. Amazing scenery! The ferry was absolutely stunning and the highlight of the trip. This is why you book the tour, just unbelievable sights. The bus was brand new and very clean. Cons: Mobbed with people. Everywhere we stopped there were several charter buses with people. Every bathroom stop you were waiting in long lines that took up most of the time of the stop, and because they try to pack as many stops into the itinerary you have at most 30 minutes at each stop so we constantly felt rushed. The lunch that was included was a single chicken wrap and there was coffee and a pastry towards the end of the tour. I just felt like for the price of the ticket I would have expected a little more. I think you might save money if you just took public transport to the ferry terminal and bought the ticket on your own. If I could redo it, that’s what I would do. Overall it was a mostly enjoyable experience with amazing sights but too crowded and overpriced for my liking.

4.00My friends and I really enjoyed this trip, though there were only a couple of minus points. One being the lack of toilets at some of the stops. The second one was the lack of time given for lunch before boarding the boat. This may have been a knock on effect from the previous stop and the above point. Our guide was very knowledgeable telling us about the history of Bergen, local customs, food, flora and fauna. The coach was very comfortable and the driver was excellent.
