We begin our tour at the East Side Gallery, the longest remaining stretch of the Berlin Wall, where your guide brings history to life with stories of division, reunification, and creativity. You’ll learn how this once heavily guarded border strip transformed into today’s open-air gallery and vibrant neighborhood, reflecting Berlin’s resilience and ever-changing spirit.
RAW Tempel Nightclub
Our expert Berliner guide will show you around one of the last still existing, subcultural centers of Berlin. You will get to know about the turbulent and unique history of this revamped, historical village in the heart of the district Friedrichshain and discover the best street art you'll ever see.

We also appreciated the recommendations that Alex provided for other restaurants to try and sites to see. We would highly recommend this tour.

5.00My wife and I had a great time exploring Berlin with Alex. He was very personable and intent on making sure we had a great experience. We were especially lucky as we were the only people on our time slot, so got a very personal tour. All of the food options were great, and Alex checked several times for food preferences and allergies to make sure we got the most from our experience. Everything we tried was culturally significant to Berlin from restaurants that clearly take a lot of pride in their products. Will recommend this tour to anyone I know coming to Berlin in the future.

5.00Book this tour in, you won't regret it. We ate amazing food but also finished with a greater understanding of Berlin thanks to Alex. He was so knowledgeable and a great host. I recommend doing this near the start of your trip if you can because we got great recommendations.

He not only provided information on the food and the history behind the food we were eating, but he also gave us insider's knowledge on the former East Berlin community where we were walking. His stories brought the area to life and helped us understand a part of Berlin and life in Berlin which was not part of other tours.

5.00My husband and I had an amazing time on the Berlin Food & Cultural Tour: German & Berliner Classics with Walk with Us Tours! Our guide, Alex, was fantastic — super knowledgeable about both the food and the history of Friedrichshain, and you could tell he’s put a lot of thought into curating the perfect stops along the route. Every bite was delicious — from the perfectly crispy schnitzel to the flavorful doner kebab and the iconic currywurst, we loved sampling so many local favorites. The German Flammkuchen was a standout, and the apple cinnamon dumplings at the end were the perfect sweet finish. We also really enjoyed exploring Friedrichshain itself — it’s such a cool, artsy neighborhood, and Alex’s stories made us appreciate it even more. Highly recommend this tour if you want to eat well, learn a lot, and have a genuinely fun time experiencing Berlin’s food and culture!
