We had a wonderful half day with Dan. A native Falklander, Dan was incredibly knowledgeable about his homeland, and was enthusiastic about sharing this with us. His personal experiences as a Falklander provided more color and dimension to our understanding of the Falkland Islands. Within a few minutes of meeting him, it was apparent that Dan cared deeply not just about the land and its people, but especially about the wildlife inhabiting the area. While guiding us, he also doubled as a wildlife warden, helping to manage tourist-wildlife interactions with a friendly yet serious demeanor. He also demonstrated flexibility by molding the tour to our group’s needs and interests which was very helpful for us. And he even brought tea/coffee and his mother’s Russian Square cake for us to enjoy during the tour, which helped us maintain our vigor. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would recommend a tour with Dan without hesitation.

Best experience of all we've ever seen the Penguins. It was fascinating to walk around the island by car. Beautiful landscapes. The guide who led us was quite nice explaining the history of Falklands. Ride without hurry, where the time was at our disposal. A great snack of coffee, tea, juice and a delicious cake did well for the walk, after the stop at the beach of the Penguins. Super recommend.

Walking at Bertha Beach and seeing the penguins was an unforgettable highlight of our trip. The beach is stunning, and watching the penguins in their natural habitat was fantastic. The walk itself is beautiful but it was quite windy—definitely dress warm and bring layers. Even so, the fresh coastal air and dramatic scenery only added to the experience. Everything felt well-organized, with clear efforts to protect both the penguins and their environment. Our guide was amazing- very knowledgeable and friendly. This is a truly unique experience that’s perfect for all ages. If you’re visiting Bertha Beach, don’t miss it—just come prepared for the wind and you’ll have an amazing time. Highly recommend! 🐧🌊

Fantastic Berthas Beach & Stanley Private Tour with Pete! We had an amazing day with Pete as our guide. His knowledge of the area’s history, culture and wildlife made the experience truly special. We visited Berthas Beach and saw a large colony of Gentoo Penguins—including mothers feeding their chicks. Then we went to the Gypsy Cove. On top of the hill, you can overlook the beautiful white sad beach, it is beautiful! After that, Pete took us to another beach where we spotted adorable Magellanic Penguins up close. He also brought us to a hilltop for a stunning aerial view of Stanley. We are thankful to Pete for his expertise and thoughtful guidance—and to his wife for the delicious homemade chocolate cake! We highly recommend this tour.

This tour company caters to each tourists wishes. It is 1 guide and you. That's it! The family who runs the tours are longtime residents of the Faulkland Islands therefore providing detailed and personal information. It is the BEST tour we have ever been on in ANY country!! They communicate well, invite all questions and engage as though they've know you for years. We hope to be back to the Faulklands and will ONLY use Faulkland Outdoor!

We really enjoyed our time in Stanley. As cruisers, we only had a short day to take in the sights, and of course, we wanted penguins! Fran was an excellent driver and took us right to the nearest rookery and beach where Gentoo penguins played in the surf. Once back in town, we had enough time to enjoy a couple IPA’s at Falkland Beerworks, visit the museum and historic churches on the main road from the pier and of course, a little bit of shopping. Thanks to Kyle & Fran for being super organized, communicating well, and for giving our group a great experience!

We booked this tour for an excursion from our Oceania Cruise. Our ship was late coming to port, but the company kept up to date with Oceania. They were waiting on us with a sign , as soon as we arrived. Bertha Beach was beautiful. So many penguins . Saw dolphins. Our guide was excellent. Friendly , informative. We would highly recommend this tour.
