Very friendly staff. It is not easy to reach the volcano but worth it, a spectacular view. I really recommend it.

As a solo traveler, I was very grateful to have taken the tour to Santa Ana with Josue. He was a great driver, great historian/storyteller, and very personable. Josue had INCREDIBLE communication (texting the night before and morning of and providing a picture of where he was waiting for me). The tour took about 15 hours (hiking pace and other factors). It was an extremely long day but Josue made sure to give us as much information on the sites throughout our drive and during the time at the volcano and lake. The hike was difficult but Josue was patient! It was worth the reward of making it to the top. As a sidenote: my first night in El Salvador, my hotel reservation was cancelled and I responded to Josue’s detailed message about my tour, asking if he had any hotel recs in the San Salvador area and he went above and beyond to ensure I found a place to stay. I will truly never forget his hospitality. As a solo traveler, I was experiencing my worst nightmare but Josue helped me immediately. Book this tour if you’re looking to go on the hike, you won’t regret it! If you’re as blessed as I was, you’ll have Josue as your guide!

Diego was an amazing tour guide! The view on top of the volcano is amazing, as well as the Lake! It was an excellent day. The company was on time, the restaurant selection was very good and we had a lot of fun during that long walk.

Let me tell you, this hike humbled me! This was extremely hard and I barely made it lol to be fair , I am not a hiker and this was my first “real hike”. It’s not for the weak! The views are incredible and I am glad I did it but it was a challenge. Our guide was Carlos-he was amazing ! He was extremely patient and stayed in the back of the group with me as we made the climb. He was super friendly and he does an amazing job. Thank you Carlos! Over all it was a great experience, just challenging for a beginner. My legs were about to fall off. But if you come to San Salvador-this is a must do!
