5.00We were humbled to see the people of the slums. We did not know what to expect but cannot recommend this activity highly enough. Our guide explained fully as to how the slums became in place and what was going to happen going forward. He also was very informative about the importance of work within the slums and the activities taking place.

5.00We booked a three hour slum tour with our private driver, Hakim, via our hotel. We honestly can’t recommend this tour enough to anyone wanting to see exactly how the local community lives. Hakim was an excellent guide, taking time to show us how residents, work and live, and always being happy to answer our extensive questions. We left the area with respect for the local community - thank you Hakim for an experience we will never forget.

The tour was done at a very relaxed pace and everything about it was so interesting, it certainly makes you appreciate what you’ve got. Hakim is the perfect tour guide - highly recommended!

5.00We had an absolutely wonderful experience exploring Mumbai. The tour combined both a sightseeing tour and a Dharavi slum tour, which made it especially unique and highly recommendable. The combination of seeing the city’s famous landmarks together with gaining authentic insights into local life was truly impressive. Our guide was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to our individual interests and wishes. His English was excellent, and he answered all our questions with great insight and patience. The vehicle was comfortable and very well maintained, making the entire day relaxed and enjoyable. Every special request was accommodated without hesitation, and the whole experience felt personal rather than scripted. Thanks to his outstanding local knowledge and warm personality, the tour had a fantastic atmosphere from beginning to end. We felt very well taken care of and can highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mumbai.

5.00I had a very interesting Dharavi slum tour with a great guy Hakim who was so full of information ,,, he told me the full story as we walked thru the slum and markets and also the factory area…. Then I was able to stop and have an ice cold beer amongst the locals ,,, I would highly recommend this tour 👍👍 Thanks Hakim ,
