  This was the best tour we had on our 11 day trip thanks to Chuck who was a very knowledgeable guide who shared many interesting facts about the places we visited. He was very adept at minimizing crowds and long lines. As an added bonus, he took us to have a very authentic Turkish meal.

  BURAK DOGANAY was the guide assigned to us. THE BEST guide of all ship and private tours we have taken over our years of travel. Wealth of information and patient with our slow place. Didn't feel rushed at all. First time booking through Viator, and although I was apprehensive, I was more than pleased. Thank you Bodak for making our stop in Ephesus such a wonderful experience.

  Had a tour scheduled, They were great at setting things uo the way we wanted them Could not believe the great price and the communication back and forth was terrific. Due to the Coranvirus situation we could not take the cruise. They graciously cancelled with no problem. Great people !

  Let me start by saying that it is easy to book with this company. Also, our cruise itinerary changed and Elif contacted us about the switch before our travel agent did in order to let us know that he could switch the tour date. Our day in Ephesus with Serdar (who came back a day early from his vacation in order to guide us) was perfect! If you are lucky enough to get him, you won’t be disappointed, but I’ll bet that all of their guides are good. We were met exactly where stated and a beautiful black Mercedes van picked us up. We spent the day learning about this historic and beautiful area. The tour of the ruins was the highlight. Having a gorgeous lunch in a picnic-like setting and having the opportunity to ask questions and converse with our personal tour guide was so fun. And finished with a quick informative tour of how the beautiful Turkish rugs are made. Great day!

  We were picked up at our Hotel on time by our guide Leyla and taken on our private tour of the sights of Ephesus. Our guide was wonderful and very knowlegable of all the history of the sight. The tour was tailored to what we wanted to see and we had plenty of time to see all and take photos. Ephesus itself was truly amazing. We had a very delicious and relaxing lunch at a shaded garden restaurant. We toured the museum in the afternoon which was also very interesting. Leyla was very considerate that we were travelling with our children aged 5 and 8 and that they were comfortable at all times. I would highly recommend this tour, it was thoroughly enjoyable and Leyla was an excellent guide. Our trip to Ephesus was a very memorable experience.

  Such an amazing experience and tour. our guide was so well equipped with the knowledge of every site. We had a great local lunch down in town . Would totally recommend this tour to anyone visiting.

  We woke up in Izmir to be picked up by a driver and guide that were arranged by Best of Ephesus Tours. I had not used many private guides before and I was a bit skeptical, but Mehmet (Memo) was one of the best that I have seen. He was knowledgeable, funny, courteous, and interesting, and took us through the House of Mother Mary, the ancient city of Ephesus and the Temple of Artemis, of the 7 wonders of the ancient world. In between, we also took a lunch break and had a wonderful Turkish kebab lunch in a garden with plenty of meze, bbq kebabs and fresh fruit. I would highly recommend Mehmet as a private guide, who can bring alive the tour and add so many interesting stories as you're walking through each site. I especially enjoyed asking him is views on everyday life in Turkey and on current events that are happening now. After a long day of touring, we bid farewell and drove 3 hours to Bodrum. Best of Ephesus Tours also arranged private transportation for us in a comfortable van with a great driver (Suleyman). We got to the beach town safely and continued on with our 2 week tour of Turkey.

  It was a very good tour, Mehmet was very knowledgeable, we went to different places and learned a lot about Ephesus as well as Izmir. We made a stop for lunch after the tour, highly recommended local food. Very good team, thanks!
