What To Expect
Catedral De Granada 2024
We will take a walk around the Main Plaza of the city of Granada, where we will see the majestic and historic cathedral of Granada Nuestra Señora de Asunción, if that day the Church is open we can pay 1 dollar per person to go to the bells and See the beautiful center of Granada from above, we will take a look at the small craft market, the typical foods of the city and the beautiful people that surround it. We will walk to the burned La Merced church where the guide will fill you with information about the history of each church and place, which admission is free. Finally we will have an educational and dynamic tour at the famous Chocolate Museum where we will have a free tour about how and what cocoa was used for before.
Isletas de Granada
After enjoying the city, we will go to the majestic Lake Cocibolca or Lake Nicaragua, a huge expanse of water filled with many species of fish and the popular Toro shark, the only freshwater shark in the world. We will take a boat and know how the 365 islands were formed and we will know each of them among the most popular as the 2 Monkey Islands, Fort St. Paul where we will Sarpare to Fight Captain Morgan and the best view towards Mombacho volcano. We'll have the best captain and Nicaraguan music in the background.

5.00A wonderful introduction to Nicaragua! It was both a structure tour, but it also had some flexibility. We got to see Granada downtown as well as visit a few churches and climb a bell tower for great panoramic views. This was followed by a tour of a chocolate museum, a boat ride on Lake Nicaragua, a spontaneous visit to a cigar shop to try Nicaraguan cigars, a visit to a panoramic viewpoint at apoyo lagoon, and finished the day visiting the masaya volcano crater My guide was Marvin and he was an excellent guide who made sure we were comfortable and offered great conversation. Overall highly recommend both this tour and the guide Marvin!

5.00I only had one day in Nicaragua to do a tour and I thought Anthony did an excellent job. He proposed to change the sequence of the sites to visit, given some external constraints, and it worked out just fine. Anthony had good knowledge of all the sites we visited and he was easy to get along with. I would recommend Anthony to any of my friends if they were to visit Nicaragua.

5.00The first stop was at the Masaya volcano which I found really interesting! The museum is super cute. The souvenir shops in this area were much cheaper and interesting than in other places. Anthony was great at giving us some time to browse without feeling like we were rushed. The lagoon was a cute spot for pics. Granada tour was great as well really felt like I saw a lot of the city with the short time I went. My favorite part was the boat ride inlets of Granada, I could have spent the whole day here to be honest. Overall I’d definitely recommend if you want to see quite a bit of Nicaragua when you are short on time.
This trip is a must, especially if you don't have a lot of time in the region

5.00I only had a day to visit Nicaragua. This is such a compact and full-on day when you are super short on time. My guide Anthony (Toni) is a knowledgeable, fun and easy-going guide (as well a very safe and good driver!). I loved the boat ride on Lake Nicaragua as well the little museum at the foot of Masaya Vulcano. Thank you Toni and Nica Paradise Tours for the well planned and executed trip. Will spread the words about you :)

5.00We had the absolute pleasure of having Anthony as our tour guide today in Nicaragua, and I can honestly say he made the entire experience unforgettable. From start to finish, he was incredibly informative, passionate about his work, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great time. His connections in every spot made us feel like we were VIP! Not only was he a safe and professional driver, but the whole vibe he created—great music, great energy, and just an overall welcoming atmosphere—made the tour feel so enjoyable and relaxed. We travel quite a bit, and by far, this was one of the best tours we’ve ever experienced. Anthony truly made this trip worth it and is a big reason why we would come back again. 3.00We saw the main attractions of Nicaragua and it was an easy pace, we could do what we wanted. Our tour guide was friendly, a bit shy, his English was basic but understandable. The only issue that he was silent for most of the journey and we had to google ourselves all the facts about Nicaragua, as population, flora and fauna, financial and political history, etc. Overall, I would still recommend this tour as it was very easy going and we felt treated well. Just manage expectations about tour guide involvement in that day.

5.00After spending a few days in Managua, we decided to go to Granada. We love working with Nica Travel so we booked this trip in conjunction with our hotel move. First, everything is dealt with so seamlessly. The owner is very responsive on What’s App and booking with him is so easy. We got our favorite guide, Anthony, and off we went! Our first stop was to see the Masaya Volcano. It was so neat to be able to get so up close and personal to the volcano. We then stopped for a really delicious lunch Next we headed off to a beautiful overlook of Laguna de Apoyo. After that we arrived in the city of Granada. We did a walking tour before heading off to a boat ride to see the Isletas as well as some monkeys and birds. The day was packed, but so worth it! This area of Nicaragua is so beautiful and geologically interesting! If you are ever in Nicaragua, just book all of your tours with this company! You will not be disappointed!
