What To Expect
Brahma Vihara Arama Buddhist Monastery
Brahma Vihara Arama Buddhist Monastery was built by Yayasan Giri Rakketo Maha Tera with the name of the foundation being taken from its founder Bhiku Giri Rakketo Maha Thera. The temple was built in 1970 by locals financing of Indonesian and also aids of Thailand government, and its consecrated in 1972. It has been damaged by earthquake in 1976. The new Stupa has been repaired and is decorated with splendidly colorful confection. The temple complex enjoys a wonderful hillside setting such as brilliant orange tile roof stand over an entrance gate guarded by fine two Naga, with bell tower in the corner of middle courtyard.
Banjar Hot Springs
Banjar Hot Spring sulphuric water is from volcanic origin and has an agreeable warm temperature, ideal for people suffering from rheumatic diseases. The best time to visit Banjar Hot Spring is in the morning when its still quiet in the pools, The centuries-old hot springs have been upgraded with modern facilities over time, and have become a favorite retreat and recreational site among locals and international visitors.

5.00We had a great day! Hari went above and beyond for us. He was very friendly and told us a lot about Balinese culture. The waterfalls were the best part of the day. Absolutely jaw dropping, stunning! You can swim at the waterfall. If you go to the hotspring first, I recommend to not spend too long there as you might want more time at the waterfall. Thanks Hari!

5.00I had the pleasure of having Hari as my guide for the whole day. He's incredibly kind and very smiling person with great English. We had so much fun, he showed me a lot of places and told me about balinese culture, history and traditions. The weather was not on our side, but Hari never stopped smiling. I recommend this trip and this driver 😊

5.00Great day out with our friendly guide Raj, who catered to the needs of my friend and I. The drive up through the jungle was beautiful and thanks to Rajs recommendation of going early we missed the crowds(and heat) at the stunning temples.

5.00Yuda was fun, relaxed, and knowledgeable about the tour he provided. All of the spots were calm when we sent which seemed like perfect timing. A few times large busses showed up right after we were leaving, so we felt a bit lucky! A great end to our Bali vacation.

5.00The drive up to northern Bali is quite amazing. Small winding mountain roads with many beautiful views. In Bali, the temples both Hindu and Buddhist we visited are surrounded by beautiful gardens. The Balinese love of flowering plants is very evident in the colorful display on the temples’ grounds. The trek down to the spectacular waterfalls (and back up!) is not for the faint of heart but the waterfalls and pool are worth the effort. I could have spent the day swimming and relaxing there and been very content. Then when we arrived at the Holy Hot Springs, I could have spent the day there too! Beautiful sculptured spouts pour the water in several pools. But my favorite spouts were simple pipes that drop the water 15 ft down becoming the strongest “jacuzzi jets” I have ever enjoyed for my tight shoulder and neck muscles. I must compliment my driver/guide Urbid (?) for the safe and expert way he managed the very difficult driving conditions in several areas - I’m a very good driver but I was very happy that he not me was driving 😊
