5.00We had a lovely morning touring the island and visiting Green Gables. A bucket list travel destination of mine. Our tour guide Gavin was brilliant! It was great to have a local guide talk about the area they grew up in. Would definitely recommend this tour and Gavin as a guide to other tourists.

5.00Definitely a highlight of our trip! Darlene was an amazing tour guide and was passionate about showcasing her beautiful province. She was thoughtful and considerate, and always made sure we were getting a chance to see what we were interested in. A fantastic chance to get an overview of the island from a true local guide! Would give the tour a 10 out of 5 if we could, based on the exception guide!!!

1.00DO NOT BOOK YOUR PEI TOUR. WITH SEA SIGHT OR VIATOR - Terrible!!! Terrible !1 booked a 4-hr PEI Premium Tour w/Anne of Green Gables for a 9A departure for 6 people @ $117 pp 6months in advance. With Less than 17-hours notice our tour departure changed our tour from 9A to 1:15P- SeaSight texted the schedule to me - we were told accept the new time or cancel! We accepted it because we wanted to see Anne of Green Gables even though our ship departed at 4;30 and they set an onboard time at 4pm. This gave us a 2 1/2 hr tour. We contacted Viator HelpDesk; this number is located on all tours booked through Viator - waned someone to intervene in the situation - the Viator agent was of no help. Take it or leave it ! Driver arrived at pickup point at 1:15P from his AM tour - after he took a break -we departed at 1:30 p. We literally had 20 minutes at Anne of Green Gables house, museum and gift shop. The photos on Viator/ Sea Sight advertisement show all the stops- Well not so! We didn’t stop at the light house, Beaconsfield House nor any of the other stops mention in their ad. We had 1 photo shot at Cavendish Beach and Anne’s house. Driver stopped at Dunes Cafe for 15 minutes (we didn’t request it) Not sure why we stopped there as it was only 45 minutes from Charlottetown. Filing a complaint with Viator is very difficult; Viator does not return phone calls; received several email without a return address! Viator offered a $40 partial refund; From other Tour Guides in Canada we were told Sea Sight has a very bad reputation and they were shocked that Viator/ Trip Advisors was still selling their tours in the US because Canada has had restrictions on this company for sometime: On PEI, I would buy my Anne of Green Gables tour from Shore Excursiosns Group, Toursbylocals or from the cruise line before I would buy from Viator BUYING A PREMIUM TOUR THROUGH VIATOR/TRIPADVORS OR SEA SIGHT WAS NOT WORTH THE MONEY Still awaiting Viator to contact me by phone!
