So this is sort of a composite review of both the walking tour and Prague in general. This was a first visit to Prague for me, so taking the walking tour was a good way to get a quick orientation to the layout of the old parts of the city. I took the long, 6-hour version, which included a short ride on a tram, a little boat excursion on the Vlata River, and a traditional Czech lunch. Our guide was quite good, and although she did have a bit of an accent, her English was excellent and I had no trouble understanding her comments. The weather was a little cool, but with the length of the walk it was not uncomfortable. About Prague in general: as stated, I had not been here before. I found it a wonderfully delightful place. English is spoken at almost every business or attraction. Oddly enough, the only problem I had was at a McDonald's when I asked for no lettuce on a sandwich (BTW, I always try to go to a McD's at least once when I travel just to see how they operate in different places -- McLobsters in Nova Scotia, etc). Everyone was friendly. The streets are exceptionally clean, and while there are some beggars (often with their very healthy looking dogs) I don't believe that these are homeless. The same people were in the same place everyday, and they only stayed for what seemed like a set period, and there were very few. I felt very safe. I was comfortable in my hotel, had nice meals at the many restaurants. The buildings were everything from Romanesque to Gothic to Baroque to Brutilist to whatever they call stuff being built today. I did not leave the city so I can't make any comment about how things might be in the smaller towns or in the countryside, but if/when I return I hope to go father a field and see more of the rest of the Czech Republic.

This tour was a great introduction to Prague and our tour guide Ross was informative and very easy to listen too as we worked our way through the streets of Prague.. A must do tour to set you up to then explore the city more confidently on your own.

If you are looking for the perfect way to experience the magic of Prague, look no further than Yanna. This wasn’t just a "walking tour"—it felt like exploring the city with a brilliant, local friend who knows every secret corner and hidden story. Prague’s history is incredibly layered, and it can be overwhelming to tackle on your own. Yanna is a master storyteller. She didn't just rattle off dates and kings; she wove together a narrative that made the cobblestones of the Old Town and the spires of the Castle District come alive. Her depth of knowledge is astounding, The lunch Yanna arranged was on another level. We moved away from the "tourist traps" and into a spot that felt truly authentic. The Food: Traditional, hearty, and absolutely delicious. From the melt-in-your-mouth beef to the perfectly seasoned sides, every bite was a 10/10. Yanna’s passion for her city is infectious. Our day was filled with great stories, amazing food, and perfect company. Highest recommendation!

This tour was super informative. I really enjoyed our guide and getting to hear more of the history of Prague at all of the iconic landmarks. The food was delicious and we even took a shorter 15 minute break when we needed. So much was included for the price. I was concerned that the long run time was going to drag on, but it didn’t.
