I think this is a great tour to take on one of your first days on a Prague trip. The all-inclusive price is perfect if you want to just book a tour and not need to worry about the other logistical details (admission, transport, lunch). You’ll see several wonderful attractions and learn some deep history. Our guide Katarina was excellent and gave detailed history both from long ago and recent. I enjoyed her commentary on daily life of the Czech people, as well. A few things to note: 1. This tour is very broad but you don’t go inside any specific location. So if you want to see the inside of any area, come back and purchase admission to this attraction later. I appreciated this as a “bold strokes” view of a lot of Prague’s main attractions. 2. The lunch was in a highly tourist area but it was still very nice. I enjoyed the variety of options and hard to beat a Czech beer. 3. Plan to get a lot of steps in (close to 10k) but it’s mostly downhill. Bringing water is a smart idea since there are few real stopping points until lunch. 4. We chose to get the Charles Bridge Museum and boat tour tickets for later. We’ve not been yet but you don’t “need” to do these immediately after the tour, although the majority of our group chose to. 5. The headsets worked well for hearing our guide in a busy area. Going in late-May, it was quite busy but I assume it only gets busier over the summer. Overall, this was one of the more expensive tour options but I was happy with the price for everything to be included and take the guess work out of experiencing some of Prague’s major sites.

  • Great way to see Prague.

It was a very good tour. Our guide, Katarina, was extremely knowledgeable and shared so much interesting history and local insight along the way. One thing to keep in mind, it involves a lot of walking (5-6 miles) in the sun, so come prepared with a hat or umbrella and bring water, as we didn’t stop for refreshments until about two hours later. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth it.

  • So much to see, so little time!

My colleague and I had 1 day to spend in Prague on our way to Budapest. This was the best tour to see all the spots with such little time! Eric our tour guide was great! He was very knowledgeable and provided a wealth of information about Prauge history and included fun facts. He was very professional and took the time to connect with each of us, making it a personal experience. Highly recommend!

Our guide was Marcela and she did a great job. Her English was great and she was very knowledgeable about Prague and Czech history. This tour goes across the Charles bridge on a tram to the Prague Castle into the Jewish quarter into the center of the old town for a Czech meal and then back to the Charles Bridge for a boat ride. However, you never actually go into the churches in the Castle or in the synagogues since there’s only a finite amount of time for such a tour. In general we found it a great overview of Prague history pre 20th century. It was a great start for our explorations in the following days.

The tour gave us a great overview of the city and Marcella was a gracious and informative guide. She even got us to the clock just before the hour so we could watch the display move.

Don’t do this unless you are extremely fit because there are no stops until lunch after three plus hours of walking. So much information it was hard to take in and no entry to buildings just walk-bys. This might suit some but not many I would suggest.
