Starting from the Camp’s Bay side of Table Mountain, we follow the Pipe Track along the bottom of the dramatic Slangolie Ravine. We hike up the Twelve Apostles via Corridor Ravine with its magnificent mountain-ocean views. Once on top we explore Tranquillity Cracks’ secretive rock fissures, hug ancient indigenous trees and hike through fields of stunning fynbos flowers before stopping by the famous Diving Board rock formation with its brilliant photo opportunities. We cross over the Back Table into the lesser-known Backwater Ravine, taking a well-deserved break at mid-day, dipping our feet into a forgotten high mountain stream on the edge of Echo Valley. With the beautiful chorus of frogs echoing loudly, the City neither heard nor seen, we are left with a true sense of ‘Paradise Lost’ having been found! After our break, we continue to Maclear’s Beacon, the highest point on Table Mountain. On a clear day, the views across Cape Town and Table Bay are magnificent as we hike along the front edge of Table Mountain to the Upper Cableway Station where the hike ends. Aerial Cableway tickets are excluded from the price. Add 1.5-2 hours and additional fees if we need to hike down.

This hike was a challenge but in a good way and I don't think a better guide could have been provided. The knowledge of everything involved in the hike was amazing and if your a hiker who likes a challenge, highly recommend doing this.

We had an amazing hike to the top of Table Mountain with Santie. We loved the beauty of the mountain and views, the variety of terrain and flora and, best of all, Santie’s knowledge and explanations about the flora and the mountain. This hike is for someone comfortable with a long hike, no extreme fear of heights and in good physical condition. If so, go! You’ll love it.

Santie guided us to the top of the Table Mountain in the winter time of Cape Town. The Cape Cars were closed. We had to hike it up and down. It was a wonderful experience. We wear tired, but very happy.

We took quite challenging tour with Santie - Table Mountain Top 5. We would never found this route by ourselves, beautiful views, and we really appreciate all the thing she has shown us about different plants and native species! Also - special thank you for home baked Rusks - especially delicious on the top of Table Mountain :-)

Had a wonderful hike up the gorge with Santi. The stairs were something else, but she kept the mood positive. Showed some really awesome views but the best part was the homemade rusk and coffee at the top that she brought for the top. Definitely recommend.

Santie was fantastic - she has deep knowledge of everything to do with Table Mountain and has picked out the best bits of all the standard routes so you get a curated tour of the beautiful national park. I felt safe, well looked after and learnt a lot about the history and nature of the mountain throughout the day. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to truly experience the whole of this beautiful area rather than just getting the cable car to the top of Table Mountain!
