What To Expect
Taman Ayun Temple
Taman Ayun Temple built in 1634 by Tjokorda Sakti Blambangan with Chinese architectural inspirations and underwent a significant restoration project in 1937. Towering tiers from the temple shrines make up most of the profile of Taman Ayun Temple and are a gesture of the people of Mengwi reverence to their deified noble ancestors, for the temple complex is considered the mother temple of Mengwi. The temple was to serve as a main site of worship among the Mengwi people who need not travel too far to the main large temples, the likes of the Besakih mother temple in Karangasem, Batukaru Temple in Tabanan or Batur Temple in Kintamani. It also served as a unifying symbol among the Mengwi royalty and the people.
Ulun Danu Bratan Temple
Ulun Danu Lake Beratan Temple is set at lakeside with beautiful lake view and hills surround it, situated in the plateau area with cool atmosphere and hills as a backdrop. Ulun Danu Lake Beratan Temple is famous picturesque landmark and a significant temple complex located on the western side of the Beratan Lake in Bedugul, central Bali. The whole Bedugul area is actually a favorite cool upland weekend and holiday retreat for locals and island visitors alike from the southern and urban areas, as it is strategically located, connecting the island north and south. Ulun Danu Lake Beratan Temple, literally the source temple of Lake Beratan, is easily the island most iconic sanctuary sharing the scenic qualities with the seaside temples of Uluwatu and Tanah Lot.

The length of the trip was perfect as it allowed us to see the countryside along side the destinations. 5.00Fantastic trip with Gusti eka driver. Beautiful scenery and learnt so much from this tour. Safe driver with so much knowledge about local history, food, and Balinese culture. Took care of me all day and even went to some extra places he knew I’d like. Plus he took lots of great photos for my memories. Definitely recommend him for any Bali trip.
