Our pick up from the hotel was 7:00 for what we were told was a 7:30 dinner and show. We were the very first to arrive, joined by another couple within 30 minutes. The bus loads didn’t arrive until well after 8:00. The the 200 or so folks were pretty well crammed in there. (Safety note: I’m guessing about 200+ guests as tightly packed as possible and only two exits from the basement venue). We had dinner choices of appetizer, entree, and dessert. All the meals were delish with nice presentation. You get lots of water and a bottle of wine for each two guests. The tango, starting at 10pm, show is fun. The dancers in each of the sets were truly talented. The musicians were fantastic. A musical tribute to Elvira was moving. And the bolo dancer (impossible to describe) was fascinating. All in all, a great evening, enjoyed by tourists and locals alike.
