Discover southwest France on a Biarritz walking tour, the jewel of Aquitaine. Begin at the majestic Casino and learn how Biarritz grew from a small whaling village into a luxury retreat loved by royalty and designers like Coco Chanel, who opened one of her first boutiques here.
Admire the Hôtel du Palais from the outside, explore the historic Church of Saint Eugenia, and visit the Museum of the Sea to understand the city’s deep connection with the Atlantic Ocean. The tour culminates at the Rocher de la Vierge, a natural lookout offering one of the most spectacular panoramas on the Basque French coast.

Excellent tour. Was very insightful. Our tour guide was great, full of cute stories that added a lot of fun to our tour. Definitely the best way to get a great feel for the city.

Great tour with David, really brought the history and geography of Biarritz alive. He was generous with his time (we overran a little). The tour is mostly focused around the main centre and the old harbour, so you don’t really walk too far but got a real insight into how Biarritz developed. We saw some interesting buildings, such as Coco Chanel’s first shop which I would not have know about otherwise!

It was ok, it didn't add much content other than the tour itself. It was short. But it is also true that the city is small

Easy to access meeting point. Leisurely walk through historic parts of Biarritz. It was a windy, cloudy day with risk of rain but our guide was very calm and relaxed so a very good experience.
