RideAlong GY’s guided bicycle tour is an immersive experience into Guyana’s culture, and something all visitors to Georgetown should do. Cherry-Ann, the owner, is so passionate about sharing her country’s culture and is an incredible entrepreneur who is developing eco-friendly ways to benefit her community. We loved exploring Georgetown with Cherry-Ann, and her enthusiasm for Guyana made us fall in love with her country. She also quickly became our friend, and we loved every minute of the tour! Prior to the tour, Cherry-Ann was so friendly and provided us with pre-departure information, and I really appreciated that level of communication and the confidence she gave us. We chose to do the cycling tour on a Sunday morning, which was absolutely perfect because the city was quiet and it gave us more flexibility to explore with Cherry-Ann. We felt safe at all times, and Cherry- Ann gave very clear instructions on where we’d be turning next. I would recommend doing your bicycle tour on a Sunday morning, if possible. Cycling earlier in the morning is also best so you can avoid the afternoon heat. Cherry-Ann made that suggestion and we’re so glad she did! We would absolutely do this tour again, and book any other tours with Ride Along GY!

Pre-trip communication with owner/guide, Cherry-Ann, was excellent. The tour itself was led by Mikki, who did a great job showing the different sites and providing stories/context. Very fun and informative. If you're visiting Georgetown and want a good overview of the town and intro to Guyana, I highly recommend this great bike tour!

Cherry is a wonderful ambassador for her country. She showed me the highlights of Georgetown, took my photo (since I was solo), and shared some tasty treats. She is so welcoming! I did the tour in the early morning so I could go back to places in the afternoon. She was ultra safety conscious and a joy. This is a great way to explore and learn about Georgetown.

This is a highly informative and immersive excursion from a true passionate professional. Cherry-Ann had the unique combination of hospitable warmth, high energy, deep knowledge and infectious passion that flows through every part of the tour. The tour will take you through back roads and side stories to really help you understand the important essence of Georgetown and Guyana. Not your regular monologe riddled excursion, this is a very personal and adaptive experience. At the end of our time together it was like a had a new close friend with an appreciative understanding and not like an educated tourist with newfound facts and figures. Highly recommended

Tour guide, Omari, was very informative. He provided me with many historical facts on Guyana. He was able to point out and explain many architectural buildings and their historical purpose. He ensured full safety during the tour. I highly recommend this tour but encourage the government to place more bike lanes in the city to encourage tourism.

Amazing trip. Cherry-Ann is super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I highly recommend this as a must-do activity in Georgetown. We spent 3 hours meandering through the city seeing, learning, and exploring. Breakfast was amazing. We were also glad Cherry-Ann did this tour earlier in the day as we avoided the heat from sun as well.

We had a great time learning more of Guyana’s rich history and culture with Cherry Ann! She took us around Georgetown and showed us a lot of places. We went to the market and got food, walked through the national museum, and saw a bunch of important Guyanese landmarks. Cherry Ann was very engaging and knowledgeable and made the day so much fun The best part of the tour was going to the sea wall and hanging and talking with locals. We were visiting for my fiancé birthday and Cherry Ann also made sure the tour felt special. Would 100% recommend this tour for anyone’s first time in Guyana or if you just want to know more about Georgetown.

This is an excellent tour and Cherry Ann is a great tour guide. The route is totally flat so very easy to complete at a leisurely and relaxed pace, taking in all of Georgetown's key sights. If you are a cricket tragic, make sure you absorb the atmosphere at the old Bourdra test cricket ground, the home of many famous cricket legends. Also take Cherry Ann's advice to start early. By late morning it gets very hot but nothing the local cucumber & ginger iced drink cannot alleviate.
