After having a picnic and looking at Bernkastel, take the “White Fleet” with lock passage back to Traben-Trarbach. Fantastic route with a visit to Bernkastel Kues. Just make sure you are on time for the return trip by boat.

It was a perfect way to see the Mosel from both the river side and the river. We were met by the most friendly person at the bicycle rental, who secured us both fine bicycles and food basket. We had a day of time to take breaks along the way and visit new places. We recommend listening to the lauschtour app along the way so you get some history along the way. The food basket was really nice and contained plenty of food for the day. Really nice boat trip back to town. Finally, wine in fine surroundings.
