After crossing the bridge, we will continue our ride to the countryside along the banks of the Red River. This scenic route offers stunning views of Vietnam's countryside, where we can see farmers cultivating their lands. Along the way, we will make a visit to a local family that specializes in making bonsai plants. This is a great opportunity to learn about this intricate art form and admire some of the stunning plant creations. We will then take a break at the lotus lake and quench our thirst with sugarcane juice or some other local fresh drinks. Continuing our ride along dirt roads and through rural villages, we will eventually arrive at the Co Loa Ancient Citadel, which dates back to 200 BC. Here, we will learn about Vietnam's tradition of establishing and defending the country against foreign invaders, specifically Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong. To conclude our tour, we will visit a fruit garden and have lunch with a local family where we can try traditional food.

Honestly, this was one of the best trips I've ever taken. The transport was super comfortable, and our guides Brian & Khang were absolutely amazing, so friendly, knowledgeable and kind. We had such a great variety of activities: a bicycle ride, traditional BBQ lunch, with a scenic boat trip crossing. Loved learning about the history and architecture and just soaking up the vibes of the tour. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun way to see Hanoi.

Initially, we thought it would only be 1 tour guide following the entire group, but actually, for this bike tour, there are multiple people on scooters driving alongside and behind you to take care of the traffic when you are on the road. so even if you are not a seasoned biker, you will still feel safe as they really prioritize the safety! the bike tour brought us to the countryside of hanoi, which is very different from the bustling city that most tourists are in. it was a really nice change of pace for us and we enjoyed the scenery around us when we were cycling. we got to see the local people’s works/houses, and the lunch was delicious as well (especially the noodle pancake and tofu). do invite the tour guide and his friends to join you for lunch as well and you will be able to chat with them. i myself am not a good cyclist at all, but when i fell down (totally my own fault as idk how to turn), they immediately offered to let me join them on their scooter, so rest assure this bike tour is really friendly to people of different fitness level 👍🏼

This was better than expected. I had my guide plus Tom on a scooter as a support vehicle in case anything went wrong. They took me through the amazing sites of the Old Quarter while we made our way to the countryside for fresh air and views of rice fields and local country culture. Included an amazing lunch at local hotspot and visited a local who grows bonsai trees. Too much to list. Highly recommend 👌

Brian was a wonderful tour guide! We enjoyed our day biking from Hanoi to the country side. Lunch was delicious, and Brian even made sure to meet our dietary needs. We highly recommend this trip!

We got a personalised private tour to the ceramic village and through the rice fields and to a temple to the north west of Hanoi. Tri (Chris) brought a lot of interesting insights and entertainment. We felt safe and well taken care of all the time, even when traffic got more dense and crazy. Kudos to Bao, who endured the ~60km ride with us bicycle-enthusiasts 😅

A great way to spend the day outside of Hanoi and get a taste of the tranquil surroundings and see the ways of the locals! Many thanks to Chris and Johan, my two guides (and bodyguards) who shared interesting knowledge and cultural insights with me, while also protecting me from the traffic. From Hoa

Perry and his partner made this trip fun and enjoyable. We arrived to our Hanoi hotel on Tuesday around 1am from a 20+ hour flight from NY and decided to book this trip for the same day- to begin at 8am. Perry picked us up on time and from there we saw a Vietnam vet and learned about his family, rode and survived through Hanoi traffic, saw bridges rice patties, markets, a temple and saw women making brooms from dried bamboo. Yes it was 100 degrees Fahrenheit outside, yes we were heavily sweating, yes it was 8 hours but it was doable because Perry and his partner made it possible and helped us feel safe. He gave us unlimited water, great food, a really refreshing sugarcane/pomelo drink and sticky rice with coconut icecream. We are not avid bikers ... I would call myself an occasional runner and I rarely bike. If we can do it anyone can.

If you need a break from downtown Hanoi's hectic streets, the Hanoi countryside tour by bike is a great escape! Once you've passed Long Bien bridge you are on village roads or in the middle of rice paddies. All the planned activities/visits ran smoothly (very well organised). My 11 year old son cycled 38km in 38 degree weather - Bike Tours Hanoi guides (Dat & Thuong) looked after us so well - it made the heat more tolerable! Dat's knowledge of each cultural site & historical event, and Thuong's attentive support made the trip a huge success! Highly recommend.

This was a really fun tour and a great way to explore the area surrounding Hanoi. We visited many places we never would have found on our own, and while we covered a lot of ground, the trip was broken up into several interesting stops, so you never felt tired. Our guide, Perry, was great. He was patient and kept us together on the road, and provided interesting background at each of our visits. This is definitely a fun way to explore, especially if you want a little break from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi.
