Well it is disappointing when the audio material doesn’t work. We could barely hear the narrator. We have tried different seats and it was the same. So we missed most of the history of the city. Also the announcement on the microphone were not audible.

Don’t waste your time or money older busses have obscured windows broken listening ports…you can’t see hardly anything and if you can’t hear either why’s the point? …changed busses half way through tour and we just sat waiting of ages…complete waste of money better value is the 72 hours train/tram pass and a bit of internet research!

Great way to see Budapest BUT very poor commentary— rip it up and start again It may be factual but it certainly is not interesting I would recommend as sight seeing only Big bus operators need to take a trip and listen then change

If you're staying in Budapest center, like we did, the best attractions are within easy walking reach. Considering that Big Bus charges 16,000Ft (€44) per person for a 2-day pass, I am not convinced this is good value. Keep in mind also that they drop you off at the edge of The Castle, where you may decide to buy yet another ticket @ €36 for the Blue Shuttle (not related to Big Bus). We used the pass in december, which is high season : the buses were packed and uncomfortable.

The bus was cold, the roof was leaking and some seats were wet. The audio stopped randomly in the middle of sentences and didn’t continue from there later on. The information we were sent before the tour, to exchange the QR code we got in the email to tickets at one of their three offices was false, we went for nothing, they gave us tickets on the bus when we got on. They made us all get off the bus at one point and switch to another one, which is an inconvenience especially in the rain. There is definitely space for improvement for this company. The language selection is nice though.

and this is a comment I do not make lightly. It is first of all very expensive at Ft 16,000 each for what is basically a glorified bus. My wife and I were in town for a day on a Christmas cruise. Having used these buses before elsewhere we got on board, cringing at the high price. On arrival the bus was full but were helped on board and my wife got the last seat, her mobility scooter safely stored. There was a spot for wheelchairs but there was already someone in the spot. On arrival at Budapest castle stop the bus emptied and we were able together seats together and I was able to plug into the commentary. All went fine fur us till Victory Square - all off ; it’s the end of the line . Herded like cattle onto another bus which was already full. It was now standing room only and an utter disregard for my wife and her handicaps requiring a mobility scooter. The next 20 minutes till we got back to the stop nearest the cruise terminal were bad enough for me but must have been utterly agony formy poor wife who was left standing in severe pain. . I became engaged in a shouting match with a particularly objectionable fellow traveller- I thought German was the language most likely to display my gross dissatisfaction. The service had ceased to be a sightseeing tour but was now nothing better than an overcrowded bus- even that is being kind to overcrowded buses. We got off relieved to be liberated from such purgatory but seething, a month later, at the utter contempt shown by the bus company for any concern for passenger welfare let alone the standard of comfort expected from any sightseeing tour. As for disability adjustments- laugh out loud only it’s notfunny. Never again.

Great way to get an introduction to the city and useful transportation to key areas of exploration. Commentary was not quite as good as some other HOHO experiences in other cities.

Could be good! BUT Hellish mist preventing any pretty good vision of the city! Just open the roof or ventilate a minimum!!! A shame. Because despite the cold, you need to know what you want comfort for a visit of m.... Or a good vision of the city!!!! To avoid... Better walk... Walking .... Walk! Bus in these conditions: no interest
