1.00Bus was packed ..standing room only on every stop. Could not see over people standing to see other side. No one on board to monitor number of people..audio went out on two stops . Have used hop on and hop off with Viator at other cities and they were great..very disappointed and would have asked for a refund.

5.00This is the best way to see the city. We sat up top and the breeze and city views were great. We went around twice and switched to the other side of the bus to get different views.

1.00Never could find a pickup point. Maps was not accurate. There was no clearly marked bus stops around the city. We saw 1.

5.00We took the Hop on Hop off all around Budapest and saw so many great sites! We bought the two day ticket but didn’t use it the second day, we wish we would have used it to see the Buda side of the city. The tickets included a boat ride on the Danube and it was wonderful! Someone also told us to come back at night for the boat trip but the lines were ridiculously long, so i guess the day trip was better for us anyway!

1.00A complete waste of time and money - over 3 days we had two journeys because of the poor service provided. We purchased a 48 hr ticket and left from stop one on day one but then got off at stop 16 for the markets. After we walked to stop 14 to continue only to wait and wait and wait. Upon our return to our hotel we approached folk at stop one to complain who advised there was traffic = complete BS, and there where not buses between 10.am and 1.30. Day 2 we waited at stop 14 again - along with 50 others between 9.30 and 10.20 and watched one brown bus drive by empty and no others. Yet their brochure stats that bus run all day from multiple stops = another load of BS. Clearly a sub standard level of management in Budapest = very dissappointing.

3.00Great way to see the city sights on a short trip to Budapest but there are not enough buses to meet the demand and it's not even high season yet. Not guaranteed that you will be able to get on the bus never mind a seat! If returning to Budapest I would use the public bus and tram services instead.

1.00We booked hop on hop off through Viator. It was a hugely popular activity and there were not enough buses to accommodate the tickets sold. Hence considerable difficulty using the service, the brochure quoted 10-25 mins frequency. The first bus we tried to board came 45 mins late and was full. This was a pattern over the next 2 days of the booking. At one point in the route the bus was asked to debunk and get on another bus that was already quite full. Not very organised. Staff did their best but very poor activity.
