Viator had a great price! DC Big Bus rides were uncomfortable! No air conditioning, no driver interactions (not even an announcement of stops), dirty, and unorganized staff communication. Also, a 1-hour bike ride was advertised, but when we tried to use, they said it was buy 1 get 1 free. We were excited to see the city, but were left sweaty and dissatisfied.

This option gives you the choice to decide how long and where to spend your time while visiting sites. The bus did not have air conditioning (it was an HOT day) and they were running behind (not the every 15-20 minutes as scheduled). The voice recording was entertaining and informative as you rode the bus. There is a nice view from the top deck.

I had a fantastic experience on the DC Sunset Tour! The highlight was definitely our driver—professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. They navigated the city with ease and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the ride. What really made the tour special was the storytelling. Each monument came alive through the rich historical background shared along the way. The stories added depth and context, making the sights even more meaningful, especially as the sun set and the city lit up beautifully. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see the iconic landmarks of DC in a truly memorable way.

Great experience we loved it… but driver was not very friendly, he was in a bad mood, didn’t even told us about the headphones, we had to look for it by ourselves

I did have a small issue with purchasing online. Never could get the app to accept my online ticket reference number however it did not affect my touring nor does it mean that ur ticket is not valid so don’t panic Tour was great! You really got to be in control of your time spent at the places of your choice
